1. Someone please recommend me some good slow songs?

These are the ones i really like

A sailorman's hymn - Kamelot
Six Ribbons - Jon English
Sleep - Poets of the Fall

2. also any good bands like Kamelot, Nightwish,and heck I even like Rasmus... ? (somehow i like listen to words of the song, so too much screaming is not my cup of tea :)

1. Steve von Till. He's also the singer in Neurosis, but his solo work is brilliant. More folk/country than metal, but it's very good, and his voice is awesome.

2. Diablo Swing Orchestra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad-l54T_kYY) has done some good stuff.
Fairyland - "Kinda like Nightwish", but more power metal and more fantasy.

Listen to some Savatage, they have a load. Of course hangover music vol vi by black label society is recommended. Alice cooper has tons as well. There are some nice ones on Ayreon - The human equation.

Though if it's to set the mood for your ladyfriend just use Barry White.
