View Full Version : Ready For NFL Football?
Seems like I've never been this ready for the NFL season. New quarterbacks, the Vic story, Farve coming back, Cuttler in Chicago, Mannings new HUGE contract ect. I cant wait to see how Tom Brady plays.
Who do you guys root for?:)

Meh, wake me up when hockey starts. (Just don't tell any of my locals I said that. I live in Steeler country, and the fanbase is psychotic. lol)

Yep. I just hope the Dallas starters can stay healthy. Dallas got pwned last year with injuries. Romo, Witten, Felix Jones, Barber, and half of the defense were playing with/out with injuries.

Dallas was cursed lol. I hate injuries, they can really turn the course of a season, just ask Mr.Brady and any Patriot fan.

If they look as good in the regular season as they did in pre-season, then the NFC central should be very interesting.
Next Sunday night Bears vs Packers, my ass is planted in front of the TV.
What a way to start the season.:D

I will be at Lambeau, 40 yard line about 10 rows back. :D I wish I had tickets to the GB/Minnesota game. If I did I would sell them for thousands of dollars.

Oh you suck XD Make a TPU/Packers banner and get on network TV lol.
Speaking of TV's, I need to get a new one (good excuse) for this season.
I just hate the thought of buying one now, with the new shit coming out @ Christmas time.
Didn't you get a new Big screen not too long ago? How's it working out so far?

Well, I think Romo and the Dallas Receivers just sent a message to all the critics that say we lack depth at wide receiver now that TO is gone.... Pass record of 353 yards.

I'll keep my eye on College football this year. I'm from KS and the Chiefs suck it up as always.
I just wish they would trade Tony Gonzalez to get him a Super Bowl ring, which he deserves.

Packers WIN!!! Poor, poor Jay Cutler. Poor Brian Urlacher. I can't believe Urlacher is out for the season with a wrist injury.

I've been a die hard Redskins fan for 30 years, and I'm about at the end of my rope. I'm about ready to jump ship to a regional team like the Falcons or Titans until Dan Snyder sells the team, or at the very least, Vinny Cerrato gets thrown out of the front office. I can't even express how frustrated I've been the last few years.

Poor Brian is right,....I think I cursed him lol

They need to trust Jason Campbell with the ball. I think they have a decent team, but the coach isn't calling very good plays.

I think it's a combination of Zorn not trusting Campbell, and Campbell not earning the trust. He has a ton of talent, but he holds on to the ball too long, and when he gets rid of the ball to avoid a sack, he throws it in traffic instead of throwing it away. The defense could be a top 5 defense this year too, but the ALWAYS give up 1st downs on 3rd down when it really matters. It kills them. I'm semi serious about jumping ship. If they crap out again this year, with no sign of improvement, I think I may just start paying more attention to Matt Ryan and the boys in Atlanta. At least done there you can feel the desire to win. I am not a bandwagon fan by any stretch, but damn...we all have our limits.

Impressive D against the Pats. Epic loss for the champs against the Bears.
Hard to believe the Bengals won IN Green Bay...wow.

Great game with the Gigundos over the Cowboys. Romo was both amazing and awful. Manning was mostly amazing.
That cowboys coach though - calling a timeout right before the field goal kick - that's some bullshit right there.

Romo was having a terrible night, they should have relied on the running game more that him. Some of those plays were just WTF just happened? Like the interception off Witten's foot!

These two things are making me hate football right now. At least that drunk Packer fan got on TV waving his middle finger during Ocho-Cinco's Lambeau leap!
