Odd, around here in public places everyone keeps to themselves. Rarely is there any sort of conversation between people that normally wouldn't talk. Even if you start the conversation.

Ah cool, I just wasn't sure if that was a religious icon (I'm regrettably very ignorant of your area / you in general and I recall that in some East Indian religions cows are sacred). Didn't want to offend.

But yes, I believe the video's author said in a comment he was hauling 19000 tons. I've got a friend who's a conductor for CN rail, and they're taught that when there is an obstruction on the tracks, you blow the horn and then increase speed (to help the train survive the impact). The only time this doesn't apply is if its another train, and then you're boned anyways. The damage of tossing on the brakes is almost always derailment and considering that most trains carry enough chemicals to wipe out large chunks of cities if released.

Anyways, my problem around people in general is I either let loose some twisted humor or my friends bring it up. Because that's what friends are for.
