I went out to buy some ps3 games this evening, when I went off the store and try to change to the left lanes so I can make a left turn, 2 bikers were behind me (about 100 feets), and I made them to slow down (it's common sense that I need to slow down to change to the turn lane...), then they followed me, tried to open my door, but I got it locked in time, broke my rear mirrors, scratched my car, go in front of me and try to make me stop, but I kept changing lanes until they gave it up.

I wanted to ran over them but I didn't do it, I don't want to make a mistake that could cost me my future....

What would you guy do if you were me? And what am I suppose to do?

I would of ran those sukers over, and then told the police what you just said. They would of been upset they tried to screw with me driving while they were on a bike.

Did you at least get their tag numbers?

lol, that isn't a biker gang, come to new jersey and see 50 motorcycles with warlock's on them, if they wanted you they would have gotten you.

Frankly, i would have thrown the car in reverse, and rain their bikes over, and then drove forward, and ran the light.

Well IMO, if that happened i would have shot them with a shotgun, LOL

They definitely would've been laying on the ground bleeding if they tried that with me.

Car is greater than bike. 4WD SUV is greater than car.

The first time they scratched the car, they would have been speedbumps. This weekend some mexicans were waiting by my car when I came out of the liquor store, they were all looking nervous and standing right between their truck and my drivers door, so I walked right up staring the guy in the middle straight in the eyes, a not so nice look on my face. The guy in the middle didn't start to move untill he realised I wasn't going to stop, then they all almost tripped over each other trying to get out of the way. I didn't say a word as I put the beer in, the guy in the middle finally stepped back a little closer to me and kind of asked if I knew if this was the only store in town ( we were in Leadville) so I stepped a couple steps closer, smilled and told him I didn't know and asked if there was anything else.

Then I left.

Had I shrank back, or they thogh I was a wuss they probably would have attacked or tried to take my money and car. I was almost hopeing, glass bottles make fun weapons, and since I have been working out, well, I have 16.5" biceps and curl 120Lbs easy now.

I would have ran them over. That is called self defense and at the very minimum a simple car wreck. They ran over you, not the other way around.

Agreed.

Exactly, it's all about attitude. Most of the time thugs won't fuck with a guy that will walk in the middle of them. That 120LBS is with both arms right? I can curl 45lbs per arm in the preacher chair bench and I have 14" biceps.

My mind wasn't clear, and I didn't know what to do, I tried my best not to hit other people while avoiding them, and I didn't think about taking their bike # until it's all over...

Anyway, it's my 1st car, and it's a used Toyota Corolla 98", for some reason when I thought about running over them, I saw blood on my car wheels, and it gave me a chill....

You'd lose nothing if you report the incident to the police.
They might be well known to the police if they're trouble makers.
The police might track them down, especially if there is paint from their motorbikes on your car.

If you had a cell phone, I'd call the 5-0 and start heading towards a police station. If the dispatcher says there is a car near buy, I'd head towards him and prepare for a boxing maneuver. Given enough time, they'd spend the night in jail, be required to fix my car and all damge to the squad cars, and most likely aren't ever going to do it again.

Don't run them over. You run the risk of a manslaughter charge in addition to totaling the vehicle. If they pull up along side you though, give them a nudge. It's not too hard to destabilize a bike--just don't lose control in the process of performing that maneuver and be wary of other cars on the road. The objective is to keep them behind you where they can't do much damage.

I don't know what state he is in, but at the very minimum they were vandalizing his car. In Texas, if someone is attacking me, or anything on my property, or extension of my property, I have the instant right to defend it in any way possible. So if someone tries to steal my car, I have the right to go out and shoot them dead on the spot.

That isn't called manslaughter because you were fearing for your very life. They could have killed you if they got your doors open. That is attempted carjacking in itself.

Simple, I'm sure you have a cell phone. Call the police. Don't cut off bikers.

Agreed with erocker.

My dad is a biker and he was just cruising down the street when a stupid woman just totally cut him up and took him out. Her response... "oh don't worry i'm a nurse".

Don't worry i'm a nurse?!??!? WHATS THAT GOT TO DO WITH YOUR STUPID DRIVING YOU STUPID BITCH!!!

Should have just driven them around the block and to the police station.

Most of the time police are government sponsored dial a prayer. As for don't cut off bikers, they have to share the road too and getting cut off is a part of driving. That certainly doesn't give them the right to do attack someone.

Agreed with erocker.

That is sad, your dad wasn't doing anything. These jerks were asking for it.

Texas is the exception there dating back to nomadic ranchers (required vigilante justice). Most states don't side so much with the victim. Yes, you have a right to defend yourself but you can be convicted if you use excessive force in doing so (hence, manslaughter).

Agreed on that. Horn honking is your non-violent means to protest. If you go beyond that, you got road rage.

Bikes are a very small object that can easily hide in a cars blindspots just as a car can hide in the blind spots of an SUV or pickup and SUV/pickups can hide in the blindspots of heavy haul trucks. Being in the smallest class of objects on the road, no one can see you--assume that.

I thought that the self defense just became a federal law, I will have to double check that though. As for being the smallest, I agree that you have to watch out. Trading down to small gives you more maneuverability to avoid the accidents. I am in a small mustang, but I have the power and the ability to move around.

Edit:
Well, I can't find anything on the federal law, but here is the Texas bill. http://usgovinfo.about.com/b/2007/03/29/texas-to-enact-deadly-force-self-defense-law.htm

The part you would be safe under in Texas is, "unlawfully trying to remove a person from a protected place.", your car is a protected place and when they tried to open the doors, that is where you are free and clear to use deadly force without attempting to retreat.

"The actor ’s belief that the force was
immediately necessary as described by this subsection is presumed
to be reasonable if the actor:
(1)AAknew or had reason to believe that the person
against whom the force was used:
(A)A Aunlawfully and with force entered, or was
attempting to enter unlawfully and with force, the actor ’s occupied
habitation, vehicle, or place of business or employment;"

here in NJ the state police are often afraid to go head to head with biker gangs. funny because the states are hard core.

WTF motivates these gangs to harrass drivers anyway?

WTF motivates these gangs to harrass drivers anyway?

i suspect that is because they are wild, and fear nothing.

idk, the biker gangs that exist here are just total radicals, they are afraid of nothing, and are feared by everyone.

the states are afraid of the biker gangs, because about 20 years ago a biker gang was stopped by a state police patrol, and they were shot and cut up and left in the pine barrens.

I heard its was drug related.

That's an excuse, not a motivation. XD

The motivation could be to keep up that "bad ass" image though. :|

just run them over and say it was because they attacked you, cry a little blabla you might even try to sue them and try to get some money
