Mine is between 2 computers, but I use Simplify to stream all of my collection to my iPhone so I don't take up all the space on my iPhone. 5600. About 40% is in flac, 50% in 320kbps AAC/mp3, 8% in 256 vbr mp3, and the rest in 192 mp3.

It's a shame it's all lossy. You need to learn the wonderful world of Flac, my friend.

The song count is 3,560 at 19.98GB. Seems to grow at a rate of about 1GB per month, depending on how many albums I get, I mainly buy compilation albums but will also get the release/single with the full 5-7 minute tracks.

About half my collection is 320kbps MP3, a few albums I didn't download were 320kbps AAC, the rest is around 256kbps MP3 and some of my older albums are 128kbps MP3.

Old 80GB PATA drive is full, waiting for me to back it up, has about every great metal and rap album ever. Also got about 50GB on my current drive with a bunch of newer releases and some classic rock. Then there's close to 20GB of random stuff on my parent's computer which I have setup as a network share.

I had a 300+ CD collection I built up from the late 90s til 2005 but it got stolen (think about it, that's upwards of $5K in albums). So I turned around and downloaded most of those albums I owned. After that I couldn't stop downloading.

iMac? I thought you would have taught your wife better.

I picked it out. We NEEDED an all-in-one in our old apartment, as space was a major concern, and quite frankly, no all-in-one was better. All the others have shit screens. This is a 2006 model with a proper IPS panel in it. Besides, OS X pwns for non-gaming tasks. My 980X will be doubling as a Hackintosh.

Now I have 5,244 songs at 31.43GB :D

Much of mine is in Flac. I have over 120GB of music.

90% of them I ripped myself. Glad I did as three days after I moved into my house someone busted into my car and stole about 700 of my cd's. They were even locked in the trunk. I took the cheque from my insurance company but still haven't gotten around to replacing most of them yet.

The one on the left is my music on the server (only I have access to it). The one on the right is shared music (everyone has access to it). Combined is all my music. User rights are controled by Active Directory + Shares.

Every folder represents either an artist or an album.

To add to this, I have 51 folders, 2 of which are quite big, namely "Anime soundtracks" and "mp3s". The other 49 are for artists or albums.
