I would like to ask everyone's impressions / opinions / misgivings / more about this vehicle. Whether you've had first hand experience or you're seeing it here for the first time, I still want to hear from you. From mechanical operations / shortcomings of it down to its style, all is accepted and welcomed.

I have the opportunity to get one for a pretty good deal, though I've got my own reservations. I was looking for other input on the matter.

My best friend back in high school had that exact same car.
In the winter?
Grand.
On the wallet/environment?
Amazing.
A racecar/luxury car?
No.

All in all if you want fuel efficient A to B and roomy, average interior, it is a wonderful car.

No experience with the latest models, but they were always an all-around solid vehicle. They don't really excel in anything in particular, but they're pretty reliable, and offer good value for the money. They're practical.

Oh I agree, I've always found it to be a good drive and reliable as well. I've had the chance to drive this thing a few times over the course of a couple years and I know its good. I also know its been kept in good shape mechanically as the owner is the type to care for his vehicles.

So, no one thinks it looks like a soccer mom's vehicle?

I actually read they hold their own on the twisties quite well.

Aside from that it's a nice looking SUV.

At first I was thinking the SX4 crossover
