I made this application about a year ago for a friend (she supplied the picture and icon):

It comes with a datetime.txt and a FB Countdown.exe. To change the date/time it counts down to, simply modify datetime.txt. The datetime will have to be in the format that is natural to the language settings of your computer. For example, in USA, it is in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM format.
The application always resides in the system tray. You can double click in the window to hide it or double click on the system tray icon to show it. Right click and select close to shut the application down.
You will need .NET Framework 2.0 to run it. It is only as accurate as your computer's clock.
