1966 Mustang Convertible. Putting it together, almost done and soon it's off to another shop for the interior. 4 wheel disc brakes, 2005 4.6L V8, stainless exhaust, underneath is all new.
Here's some pics:

NICE, but why in Gods name would they put a 3v under the hood? Hell, they could have gotten a 4v and a blower for the price of that 3v.

No they couldn't. The engine was out of a salvage yard that I rebuilt, and I'll put my work up against any 4v. ...And it belongs to an older gentleman. He put an automatic in it for crying out loud! :(

I love the 66 Mustangs. Even more so with the topless version you have.
I've got 100 pictures of a local car run, literally over 1000 cars mostly eye candy(Stangs & Camaros) but some slick customs and originals.

I want a 67 fastback. I like the way the rear-end looks on a 67. I would need to sell both of my kidneys and a lung to get a somewhat decent one. They are just so damn expensive right now. Ever since the worst car movie ever made came out (Gone in 60 Seconds) the value of those fastbacks skyrocketed. Everyone and their mother had to ruin them by making the into some Elenor clone. Screw those Elenor's, they look much better stock.

I like it. I almost bought a 69, but the coolant was full of the "cement your passages" stopleak, and the car was a wreck savage after looking it over. Of course the dealer was telling me how it was a old lady trade in.

Ah, ok, now I see. Most 3V's around here run $5000 minimum out of a junkyard, not including the wiring harness and computer. I can get a cobra motor for $2200 and then put the blower on it.

One of my favorite Mustangs as well. Absolute favorite is the '66 GT350R fastbacks.
At any rate, I love restomods. I probably would've gone for a 2003 Terminator motor and T56 if it were my choice (and definitely not a drop top. I hate verts). That's still a hella nice and clean car.
