I am running a Phenom 9650 on a Foxconn 780G and Gigabyte 785G (tried both) board, my friend's Kuma processor works in either config. My Phenom works in his board as well. My entire rig powers up fine with his PSU, but my 3 PSUs that I have tried to not do the job. All 3 are of adequate wattage and 2 were brand new. I've tried booting without RAM, without the videocard, with different RAM and videocard but every time I do it I get the following:
/presses button
/fans spin up for a split second, lights flash
/powers down
Can anyone tell me wtf is wrong with my pc?

Come on man.. If it powers up with one psu and not three others, you have wildly bad luck with bad psu's.
Troubleshooting is a simple process of elimination in this case, and you have found it.
You can double check the power supplies, maybe try it again making sure the power connectors are all the way down etc, if you are really feeling up to it you can check the voltages with a multimeter, if you really feel up to it you could load test it but that's pretty complicated.

I know it sounds ridiculous that I would come on here as I'm almost positive the PSU is the issue, HOWEVER, I have come to realize that there's no other thing it could be. I'm just a bit shocked as I've waited 1 week for 1 PSU, half a week for another motherboard, gave up for a week, waited another week for another PSU, then all this hardware swapping... UGH.
It's just so unbelievable and unlikely :(

I let my dad put his Army knowledge of electronics repair for good use... let me just put it this way...
New motherboard? 89$
New PSU? 60$
Finding out your computer wouldn't start because of a bad 19 cent sata cable...
Priceless.
Or enraging.

Aw man, you have to test all the parts :)
For future reference when testing boards for posting issues disconnect everything, I mean everything, 1 stick of ram, cpu and cpu fan, connect the psu and short the pins with a screw driver or something to get it turned on, see if it stays running, add one piece by piece until you find out what the problem piece is, glad you got it solved at least.
