Very big game tonight. If it was a perfect world, the game would be a QB shootout with A. Rog scoring the touchdown in the end. Unfortunately, I think it's going to be the Adrian Peterson show with him running all over the Packers. Favre won't be much of a factor.

Prediction: Packers 24 / Vikings 35 :(

WhiteLotus, I'm disapointed in you. Yes, the Packers is a funny name. A name I would expect a British sports team to have. Really, it's an old name that goes way back to when the team was a bunch of meat packers (not the gay term), oh alright it's a gay ass name.

Kurgan, the Viqueens look really good. They are now my Superbowl pick.

lol. Packers is such a gay name. although by the sound of it they don't have much to work with.

Maybe Pirates. Then the ongoing battle between vikings and pirates would be settled.

The Packers are one of the oldest and most storied franchises in the NFL. To change their name would be the equivalent of changing Big Ben's name to Big Boner.

Lol, pitch. The only pitch we have here is in baseball where the pitcher pitches the baseball. In US football it's called a field. More specifically in Green Bay (Packers) it's known as the frozen tundra! Lambeau Field.

Yeah, after they signed Farve that completed the team. They just needed a good QB, with the best RB in the league, they needed someone else to make everyone think they aren't just going to ground pound it all day long. And it seems with Farve there it's working, I really hope Peterson can break the rushing record this year, the way I see it is, he's got 2 years, because after that we'll loose Farve and have shit draft picks. And a 1 trick team will just make everyoen focus on him again.

They got the team to do it this year, then again they did in 98 and they did back with Tarkenton (sp?) So lets hope they actually put the nail in the coffin and finally bring that thing home. Theres been some greats that played for MN that really dissevered a ring like Carter, so hopefully they can finally make this happen so that doesn't hve to be said about some of these guys.
