Porsche finally manages to make a four-door car: Panamera (http://www.panamera.com/)

They've toyed with the idea for decades but could never bring themselves to make something commercially available until now. (toast)

I am up in the air on this thing, and have been for a long time. I like the front, then again why wouldnt I it looks like every single Porche currently made. The sides look ok, but from the back, it's just flat out ugly. I really think they should have tacked on a few more inches length wise to really make this car look much better, it's like they made an extremely nice looking family sedan and started from the front. Then when they got to the back they said, "ah crap we have 5 inches to go" and then they just cut it off.

Also I'm not sure where your image is from, but that looks to be a concept front end, but damn that looks good, they should have gone with that, maybe thats plans for their next universal Porsche front end revision?

Only took them about 40 years to add two doors.

I think the reason why it looks screwed up in the back is because it is a front-engine, all wheel drive configuration whereas all the other Porsche sports cars are rear-engine, rear or all wheel drive. It doesn't have that trademark grill/tailfin back there. Instead, it looks more like an un-SUV'd Cayenne.

Google images. XD
You're right. The Panamera has a 911 Turbo front where my picture appears to have a Carrera GT front:

They should have gone with the Carrera GT.
Still...175 MPH in a street legal, four-door sedan isn't exactly common place.

if is the one in post two it looks like a 911 that they stretched it, made it longer and moved the engine to the front

Thats the only moderately good looking thing on the car, you cant like that backend.

I assume you mean 911, either way, thats a 2 seater, this is for moving a family, and moving them decently quick. I would still spend far less money and just get a CTS-V personally.

post 2 is the actual production version, which I was referring to.

here's one of the rear end. not great actually from this angle, I think it would look better in the flesh.
OMG I can't believe I am defending a Porsche, I've always hated them! Maybe because the finally put the engine in the right place

From the dead on back it dont look to bad, at least in a picture as its hard to tell the depth. Like I said though before, it's like they just got to the back and cut it off, they should have just made it a wagon and put a small spoiler up on the roof, would have looked much better.

I think if you throw a whale tail spoiler on the back it would probably look a lot better.
