A woman in South Korea who tried to pass the written exam for a driver's license with near-daily attempts since April 2005 has finally succeeded on her 950th time. The aspiring driver spent more than 5 million won ($4,200) in application fees

Not too expensive, many people here spend more on their license.

I spent a total of $85 to get my license...
My CDL was Free as was my training 8 years ago( a $6500 value) after My Job was outsourced

You... 85 bucks? To get mine I had to throw out like 7000... and thats about normal here. Driving lessons cost about 90 bucks, the theoretical exam costs, the practical does, the mandatory courses cost...

I guess I don't remember any fee's, I assume there was some for behind the wheel training, but I cant imagine it was a ton of money.

mine was 24usd my driving classes were 250usd but i didnt pay for it the class i mean

and then we have to get ours renewed every 5 or 4 years
