Was just wondering if there was any musicians here?

I've been playing guitar for 13+ years but i also dabble with a bit of drums, keyboard, and bass.

Yeah I've been making Electronic Music on PC now for a good year using FL at first and now Renoise.

Other than that I played the Viola for 9 years, enjoy trying to play the Piano and waiting for my friend to get better (He is sick) to teach me the Guitar.

Probably one of the better Danny Carey covers I've seen.

Another electronic musician here. Using Fruity Loops, Cakewalk and Audacity for ambient stuff :3

Also some metal covers using Guitar Pro and REAPER

Ummmmm, no. He's definitely not a run of the mill drummer. I've seen him play live, and his technical playing is out of this world. He's easily in the same league as Neil Pert (albeit different styles). It's not like he shows his full repertoire on every Tool song.

He's not run of the mill, but he's nothing too complex.

I've played different instruments throughout my years, but I currently have an electric guitar, keyboard, accordion, and recorder. I think that I'm best on the drums, but they're so expensive and not much fun to play by yourself. I might get another set some day, but for now I'm trying to get my hands on an Ibanez 4-string bass and decent amp.

Bought a cheap small bass amp (15W) the other day. Nothing special, but now I FINALLY have something proper at home.

I studied theory in college, and was in choir in college and high school (third chair in the state, booyah!) Played trombone in high school, also self-taught bass guitar, acoustic (and i try to play lead) guitar, drums, rock and metal singing, and a liiiitle bit of trumpet and flute.

Im eclectic...

I studied theory in college, and was in choir in college

back in the day I use to have fights with choir boys all the time!

but teachers never actually understood that the dude i was fighting was actually best friends with & that are just having a friendly skirmesh. we got pretty violent sometimes - He threw me off a table so i beat him with a chair

very similar to a WWF weapons match. it was fun! and at the end of the day we were still best friends even if we did get a bit batterd & bruised! people use to love watching us fight too

My roommate and I are like that... my house is a warzone complete with blow-dart guns, air pistols, and billy clubs. Tho usually its just the unexpected nut-shot.

Btw, I'm not your average "choir boy" either. I was the goth punk in high school, had a mohawk and eyeliner and combat boots and shit. A guy on the basketball team tried that "choir boy" line on me in the locker room after PE class. Ended up getting my ass kicked... but only after the entire starting lineup joined in. Broke a guys wrist on the lockers and gave another a concussion against the concrete benches. Pussies never fight fair... I still only ended up with a couple of bruises.

That being said, i also played my fair share of sports, mostly baseball, but also did alot of non competitive sports like climbing and outdoors shit. So i'm quite a versatile person. Def not a "choir boy"... i can just sing like a mofo :D

we had uniform :) girls looked hot *dribbles* schoolgirls ftw, Damn if i could only travel back to 1996/01 & relive the moment that would definitely be worth getting locked up for!

as for sports - I did all the usual stuff - rugby, football (I hate football) basketball (loved it) Discuss, Javelin, shot-put, triple jumps, high jump, cricket, baseball, cross country running, tennis & badminton, plus all the regular track n field stuff
