please turn off auto email

I was just hit by the email spam.....I hated it on TPU, and I know all new users hate it on TPU as well.

Go to the user CP, then options, then subscriptions and turn it off. Then go back and unsubscribe from the threads that are sending it.

I hate the fact that new users are hit by it. It took me a while to find it.....well in fact I think I had to end up asking how to turn it off the first time.

Yeah, having it off by default would save prettymuch everyone from having to find where to turn it off, post something asking how to turn it off, etc.

You have to del all the threads your subscribed too. That's the only way to end the emails.

lol. Luckily I changed mine well before I ever posted. First thing I did was set up my options. I learned the hard way from a few vB forums. lol

I like it on... tells me when to reload usercp...once my inbox jumped to 2200+ mails:) 2100 of them are from TPU:D probably 200 of them are from "please spam this thread":D
