well as the title says do you think it needs better moderation and a report comment
why do i ask this?
well a few weeks ago i saw a disgusting comment about a little girl singing in the bath so i replied telling the person to stop being a perv and that she was just a little girl end of, only for someone else to tell me i must have been living a sheltered life and such and to look in peoples favourites to see what they had and where like, so i did and wo do parents leave themselves open for there kids to be looked at by perverts, anyways i looked through one members last night (i can't say openly who for legal reasons)other than to say one guy had countless numbers of videos and i mean countless in his favourites all with young boys and babies naked ,well being new to the net i didn't know how to report it ,so i flagged each video i could with a nudity report, that'll teach the pervert http://tpucdn.com/forums/images/smilies/laugh.gifi hope he reads this and weeps

so have i gone over the top flagging vids well i don't think so

my advice for any parent reading this is if you have videos on youtube of your kids in the bath showing there privates is to set your videos to private ,that way only people you want to see your kids (i'e relatives and friends only see them)although i have to say why anyone would film there childs privates i don't know, i think if people are to film there kids messing around they should do it at such an angle that pervs can't see them, although after what and who i came accross last night i really don't think it mattershttp://tpucdn.com/forums/images/smilies/shadedshun.gif

True it's a nude baby, thing is that's not supposed to arouse anyone.
However quite some people have fetishes, unfortunately even for babies... (ugh)
And even for other stuff.
Were a nude baby video to be struck off youtube because someone with a nude baby fetish might see it, it would follow that many other videos would have to be struck off, because people got high-heel fetishes, pvc fetishes, food fetishes, horse fetishes, dog fetishes.... well I've elaborated enough I guess.... :/

In reality it's difficult to find something which no one on this world has a fetish for and would view in a perv way... :(

This is the nanny state mentality in action. It's an innocent video. You should not punish the majority because of the sickness of a small minority, EVER.

It sets a precedent and leads to more censorship and banning, like banning violence in video games because the minority may act poorly from it. Or burning books. Or banning music. Etc., etc.

well i'm not against people putting what they want on there, its their choice i just think people should be more aware of what kind of person goes on the tube and for what purpose
in my country ye things have got out of hand parents and children are very restricted,
well as i said my purpose of flagging was to stop a pervy old man from watching young boys which i hope i have done, not to be a prude and not to nanny someone, the purpose of this thread is really about reporting inappropriate comments which i think yt should have ,i won't repeat some of the things i read other than i will try to find out how to report the people in question ,if i said any of the things here which were said over there i'd expect the immediate and perminent banstick to hit me

I voted no but on second thought I'm kinda changing my mind.

The (limited) 'problem' arises when Maltese people comment on certain vids.... in maltese...

ie the problem more lies with those who abuse commenting in their native languages.

Such trolls usually do so comfy in the thought that it would be very long before their comments get deleted since only an odd half million knows how to speak maltese.
Thing is, through such abuse, they usually make really really obscene posts. I'm no prude but the type I'm speaking of is that which would make a truck-driver blush (with due respects to truck-drivers).

It's not the first time I encountered some video, perhaps of someone who thought was giving a good performance, the video is perfectly acceptable... but the comments (the kind where one mixes obscene 4-letter words with members of one's family or with religious personalities...) they're certainly not 'perfectly acceptable' to kids or teens... :/

I think, at least in the USA, anyone possessing imagery of a nude, or partially nude minority can face criminal offenses, even other minors. "Private parts," therefore, should never be shown on any public forum (you tube, image hosting, whatever) no matter how innocent you think they are. It is publication of (specifically minors) nudity and it can get you in serious trouble.

Wrongteous as it might be to look at a picture of a child and thinking of humping it, just thinking things is not a crime. Removing pictures/videos because people could potentially do disturbing things with them is a bad idea. For example, I sometimes print pictures posted in the "post a picture of yourself" thread and poop on them, should you now stop posting them completely? In fact, at a certain point I had that picture the boss posted of himself printed on toilet paper.

I'd say, if you have a problem with something 1 out of every 1000 people thinks when looking at a photo, do as suggested above and don't publicly post things.
