NCAA Champs?
I think we will be :D
Wall, Patterson, Bledsoe, Cousins, we've got a damn good lineup and John Calipari...
Louisville fans need not apply, we're currently whipping your asses.

Sorry mate, Kansas University is ranked no 1 for a reason.
30pt win today over no19 Temple, but our schedule is rather light I must say. We play Tennessee in 2 weeks and then Texas later but we wont have much to go on until the Big 12 tournament and the following NCAA championship.

Lol Kansas
Where's your #1 NBA draft pick? Your 15-0? Your 2000+ wins?
mlee49
01-03-2010, 02:58 AM
How about Freshman of the Year, Xavier Henry. I'm calling it now, just wait till the end of the season.
Also 50 STRAIGHT wins at home. Beat that sucka!
T3hPwn3r3r
01-03-2010, 02:59 AM
Xavier Henry is slower than John Wall and placed behind him going in. He's got nothing on Wall.
Also, we would have 50 straight wins at home BUT we had Gillespie.

Please, TX doesn't have what KU has: depth. 12 players scored tonight, 4 of which are brothers. 2 of the 4 brothers are near identical twins.
You dont have to act scared and talk hard buddy :D It's all good

I think we will be :D
Wall, Patterson, Bledsoe, Cousins, we've got a damn good lineup and John Calipari...
All of that didn't help Calipari much in 2008.....(nutkick)

Yeah, but Calipari had a shit lineup of players, right now we're 18-0 :)
DonInKansas
01-18-2010, 04:32 PM
Yeah that "shit" lineup, including at least 3 NBA players, was undefeated too until they came up on Kansas.
T3hPwn3r3r
01-18-2010, 04:47 PM
But this year Kansas lost to a bunch of walk-on, non scholarship players and a nobody coach. Just wait and see come the NCAA tournament. :)

I'll take Bruce Pearl and his clean program over Kentucky's rogue, "join em and leave em under probation" coach anytime. Just ask UMass and Memphis.

Eh, we're #1 in the USA now since Texas just lost to K-State.
Epic fail on the Jayhawks behalf.
Enjoy failing :)

Any words of wisdom? Perhaps you could explain?
I'll remain civil since KU plays K-State on Friday at K-State, it wont be easy at all.

Well, you play a road game in a place as energetic as USC's arena against a team with Downey, or anyone who scores 30+ pts a game... That guy's got a fucking cannon and we slack WAYYYY off.
Either way, we lasted through our winning streak farther than any other team, and we're still the most legendary program in college basketball, period.

Cal didn't make that Memphis player cheat.
I've had classes with Miller, Patterson, and Harrelson though.
All 3 are REALLY intelligent guys, I don't think any will have any revelations of cheating. Also, Wall already admitted his faults and did his time for having an agent.

Oh hello STILL under 2000 wins, less in-demand tickets (I don't see Kansas vs. nonconference opponent tickets selling for over 1500$)
The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team, representing the University of Kentucky, is the holder of the most all-time victories in the history of college basketball, both in all-time wins[1] and all-time winning percentage[1], with an all-time record of 2008-635-1[1][2][3]. Kentucky also leads the NCAA in NCAA tournament appearances, NCAA tournament games, and ranks second to UCLA in NCAA championships with 7, and second to UNC in NCAA tournament wins with 98.[4] In addition to these titles, Kentucky also has won the National Invitation Tournament in both 1946 and 1976.[5][6]
Where's your inferior all time winning percentage? Oh yeah, over there being lower than ours ;)

You're having trouble with Kansas State.
...and no he didn't.
mlee49
01-31-2010, 02:51 AM
Damn straight we had trouble with KState, they play to win at home. Especially after they beat No 1 Texas at home, Manhattan is a dangerous place for anyone.
Enjoy being No 2.

Eh, #2 is still good, you guys are good, but you guys will have more trouble with us ;)
Also, ESPN is horribly anti-Kentucky.

Funny we've been fighting over No1 when both of us are K.U.
I respect Kentucky's team this year. They have a lot of talent, agility, and can make plays happen. I would love to see Kansas vs Kentucky.
How is Espn anti Kent.? Because they spark the debate Villanova should be 2nd?
Bigger question is who has a tougher schedule ahead? You guys play Tennessee twice before the end of the regular season, I'll be watching those for sure.
Villa's schedule has Syracuse and 5 other ranked teams by March.
Kansas plays at Texas next week, hosts KSU, and then finishes at Missouri for the last game.
Tell me who has a rougher remaining schedule?

I'd say we're about even, and that we'll be more challenged (but still pull through for sure) in the tournament.
However, I will admit the one team I think can spank our asses is Syracuse. I fear Syracuse far more than Nova or Kansas sheerly for their defense.

02-03-2010, 05:06 AM
Fuck Syracuse, we lost to them in '04. Damn bastards won with Camello Anthony.
Kirk Heinrick and Nick Collison deserved titles for damn sure.

Yeah he skipped that remember.
I do have one question, what conference is the most difficult right now? SEC? Big 12? Big East?
T3hPwn3r3r
02-11-2010, 04:40 AM
I'd say the Big East conference for sure. SEC usually has good teams, but this year Florida's in the shitter and Georgia and Bama... Who knows what happened to them? Same goes for Miss. St. and Ole'
Either way... ESPN just put this out about Lexington:
"Best Basketball Town: Lexington (27). Easy choice. By far the best program, by far the best fans, by far the biggest arena. And by far the most Ashley Judd (28).
Comment: "Lexington by a long shot. Probably the best hoops town/state in the country." "

That was a historically bad effort from 3 point land. Kentucky is talented, but asking a bunch of freshmen to make this run is brutal..........
