Lately, I have been quite lonely. I hang out with friends and stuff when I can such as on the weekends but I still feel lonely. I really want a girlfriend, but in most of my classes there are not many girls who I have interest in, and the ones I do have interest in don't seem to have interest. What do you suggest I do? I've also been somewhat depressed lately. I think having someone there would help.

The point is your focusing on trying to do something with your friends. your getting stuck on trying to figure out what. dont call them and ask if they want to do something and what..just think of some cool shit (dont go to the movies with a bunch of your guy friends hats weak) go set up like a group date or some shit. be assertive "hey were going to go xxxx later" you know put it out their. no one wants to sit around and brain storm. o find a party. if your straight edge. dont. its simple find a common intrest. or find something that is equally craz to everyone and do that. push the boundaries a little risk a little.

same here but i have dated over 30 girls in the last 3 years ranging from "OMG she is fucking hot" to "she been hit with the ugly stick way too many times (ww)"
the point in that is you can girls no matter what you look like.Just remember the worse thing they can say is no. Uh, being the friend that they cry and talk to is only a good idea if you don't want to sleep with her. Because you become a friend. And girls don't do friends.
