Ok so I need some help. I got an electric toothbrush as a stocking stuffer. I hate these types of toothbrushes so i never got one. I always thought my normal one would do a better job. Well today i go into the bathroom and the people i live with tossed my toothbrush. leaving the electric one in its packaging near the sink....awesome. so i try it out and its a total fail. i eventually shut it off and used it like a normal tooth brush and it did a much better job. will someone please tell me how the F@#$ck im supposed to use this? I honestly dont know. I can build PC's solder and code but i dont know how to work an electric toothbrush. i need someone to explain it to me.

Do the same thing you usually do, just slower.

I use mine like a normal toothbrush... only while it's doing it's buzzy spinny thing.

sweet ill have to try that. but when i tried that in the beginning it sounded like the motor was bogging down. so in order for it to spin as fast as it was i had to not press down as hard. which felt stupid because i was barely touching my teeth

Well you're not supposed to push down with your toothbrush anyway... that's how you wear off the enamel.

Well it's supposed to bog down a little but you shouldn't be pushing too hard. That's just the natural tendency of the motor in the toothbrush due to the friction between the brush and your teeth.

I use a sonic tooth brush and love it. It takes a little bit to get used too. You kind of let it glide, and do it's job without you forcing it down.

Overclock it and it'll evolve from wtf-toothbrush to roflcopter-brush. Works better than normal electric toothbrush.
