Hmmm, the "tv's" aren't all identical to me.

Is it some type of crystal oscillator? A really close up view?

Dunno. I see 3 TV sets, with one in two different color tone, making 4 different images which are then copied in 3x4* rows and repeated on the vertical plane.

The apparent lack of countours/shadows convince me it isn't any single component or closeup of one.

If you said TV, you were right! It's just diff views of the screen with the DVD screensaver going. I did the pasting in MS Paint.
