Anyone know a durable phone that is CDMA?

Durable = Samsung. What my Samsung phone has survived without a scratch, many Nokia, SE, let alone iPhones would've been defeated. It fell on concrete from over three foot height, it drowned several times, and it took virtually NO damage. Not even a scratch god damnit.

i find all the old nokia candy bar phones really durable in my opinion i had a 6230 and dropped it from like 10 foot on top of my small closet like 4 times and it worked fine still.

Sammys may be durable, but they drop calls like sumbitches in my experience.

I didn't know surviving a fall was such a big deal. Fuck. I've never had a phone that I DIDN'T drop multiple times.

Anyway, I don't know if reputations really count for anything. so much work is subcontracted out to parties both unknown and unknowable, that I think you always have to take your chances.

I like the Nokia(?) N97 - a real chick magnet.

Ok, only if you're into nerdy chicks I guess.

I have a Motorola Razor version 3 I think. It's very thin and gets good reception. I would NOT chose it if you plan on surfing the net, but as a basic phone, I love it.

They do? Mine never did that. Guess it depends on what model you have and what provider.

I had the same issue with every Samsung I've ever owned. They have always been the dropped call kings for me.

I am enjoying LG phones right now since i went and got myself an LG pop.

But still i think Nokia is best for durable if your talking about dropping it numbers of times of course not there latest phones like the N97 or something.
Maybe their slide phones or their candy bar phones will be good durable.

Remember the 5210 I think from what, ten years ago? We played soccer with it and dropped it willingly from three stories height. It still works today. THATS what I call durable. But for todays time, I think a black/orange screen and complete lack of anything multimedia is not the right stuff lol.

If you decide to go for something that is just a basic, solid phone, check to make sure it has bluetooth. I just assumed that at this point, everybody would include it as a standard feature, but apparently not. I needed a cheap sub-$100 phone as a backup and didn't realize until after I got it that it didn't have bt. Stupid mistake, yes. I'm just sayin' . . .

My N95 8GB is pretty damn durable, dropped it while cycling at 40kph and almost fell off my bike at crossroads and without a helmet lol. It's got a lot of dings but works.

Slow as shit though and unreliable. Sure, it has GPS, but it's not going to get you anywhere. Not really worth €400...

Phones are more durable than you think, I've dropped my N95 so many times as did I my N93i which had a RRP of like €700 lol, I'm guessing most of that was transport costs because it was such a heavy brick lol.

Something Android maybe?
