why is that PC nerds and gamers, like sooo much using "has, mah, teh, etc." that plus the cat pic with the giant white letter, I mean some [SOME] of them are funny and clever with most...really has no point, just showing a pic of cat doing some sort of trick....yeah thats funny, but common there's probably like 3 million cat pictures going around.

-I consider myself a pc nerd/gamer and do not find this funny anymore =\. I say we need a new kind of animal to maker fun of!

Did you mean "most really have no point"?
I has teh gud speling adn grammer. lol

I know that most of the words that are the latest vogue originated as constant misspellings and typos, and now are just used in an attempt at humor.

I'm not sure why the cat pictures are so popular. I think that perhaps it's because a lot of people have cats and cameras.

I agree, though. I think we need a new "mascot".
How about chickens? They're pretty funny and good to eat!

Seal have fur??

Yes

Skin/Coat/Molting

Fur seals have both blubber and a specially adapted fur coat, including outer guard hairs that repel water and a layer of insulating underfur. For this reason they were particularly prized by sealers. Many species were nearly hunted to extinction.

I hear that if you cut the fur into really thin strips it works really well for flossing your teeth and it's easy to clean.

I, used in reference to yourself, is considered a proper noun whether you agree with the sentiment or not, and is to be capitalized. By not capitalizing I, you are wrong by the very definition of the word.

Since Grammar Nazi (used as a title, so capitalization is appropriate) and General Nonsense (name of the forum, so a proper noun) start with the same letter, I think a GN clubbed baby seal mascot fits right in.

We may need a "Crazy Grammar Nazi" thread. :D

Oh, and ive never capitalized i because i dont believe i am a proper noun. Texas, or London, or Russia is a proper noun.

It's psychologically interesting that you refuse to capitalize "I" or see yourself as a proper noun, since proper nouns are usually one of a kind items. Subconsciously you must see yourself as generic and not noteworthy. Do you suffer from a lack of confidence in your day to day life?

Refusing to see yourself as a proper noun certainly isn't a strong rebellious action; if that's the angle you're going for.

Well if you want to go at it that way (first paragraph) then no, i dont. Im not Einstein, Marin Luther King Jr, George Washington, Ben Franklin, King Tut, Queen Elizabeth, (insert great musician here), you get the idea. Im just a simple peon in the American Public who follows his lame day to day life just trying to stay dry, get some nice food, and have a nice pc to play with.

If i want something i have to make sacrifices which usually includes going without something or selling of other PC parts. I might start capitalizing i if i make a name for myself.

In short, i dont find myself significant enough for it. My grades never perished because most of my English teachers oddly understood why i did it. Either that or they felt sorry for my ass :p
