Just wondering what time nightclubs close where you guys live, in Ireland they close at 2:45am and an off licence has to close at 11pm (It's also illegal for anyone under 18 to be in an off licence LOL). It's so fucking early, it's bullshit, especially considering most of them only bloody open at 11pm. You only get started and it's over. Not to mention every club here is fucking indie.

At least with a house party you can get the bus home when it's over at 6am (€2.20 bus vs €30 taxi) and you can play whatever music you want. It's not indie at every single house.

The good clubs usually close at 6am or so. The lesser good clubs at 4am. The best, not known to everyone disguised-as-a-bar clubs don't even close.
The club in the hotel I used to work closed at 8am. That was awesome.

Some of the better clubs here in Tampa close between 3 and 4 AM.

2:30 AM here. If you are under 21 you have to stay home and drink, even though that is illeagal too.

Between 4 and 6 mostly. Though there has been some debate about closing times of clubs and bars recently. Laws are different per city though.

I don't know what time clubs/bars close around here.
The only time we are in a bar is to have a pizza and a couple of beers.
Out here in the sticks there aren't really "nightclubs".
There are supper clubs (decent restaurants that have bars) and there are dumpy, stinking, putrid, can't breath it's so smokey, barf inducing dives that barely can pass any kind of inspection to save their license.

2-AM to 4-AM. The 4-am bars need a "4-o'clock license". It costs a bit more, but they can sell alcohol till 4. If you want to get into a fight in my town, just stay at a 4-am bar till closing.

WE have pubs and clubs that have 24hour licences. Back where i live, there is a club that if you stay all night they give you a free breakfast.

There was a group of people trying to beat the system recently, a hotel in the city has a nightclub area with a large capacity, the plan was to rent all the rooms and just hae everyone in the club until 6am as it's legal and all the guests would be there for the nightclub. Staff were aparently ok with it, was €10 per person. Don't know what happened though, it was being organised on Facebook, it probably failed, or sucked if it did happened. They just had to get the DJ sorted and get enough people to cover the room fees.

I'm willing to bet it too, like every other club, was indie!

WTF, did someone change the title of this thread? Lol sneaky sneaky

Bars close at 2 am, off-sale at midnight.

We don't really have nightclubs here, but we do have a drive-up bar with carhops in Yankton (The Ice House):

Sit on the loading dock, drink your beer, then smash the bottle under the dock. Or you can sit in your car and drink. Or you can mill around the parking lot and drink (just don't block the street). It's the only bar in the state where such things are legal. The owner was on David Letterman's Stupid People Tricks for his high speed beer can stomp.

Hotel clubs have become big here in Denver, better that you come, drink, party, and check in than drive drunk. Plus it isn't that far for the after party to begin, they just need to move checkout time back to 1 PM.

I can't eat after partying all night, never could. I always feel sick and puke if I eat. Drinking a shitload of water before bed and then every time you get up to piss makes the biggest difference. Plus good curtains.

If you alternate your drinks with glasses of water, you can maintain a nice buzz without getting falling down drunk AND it will greatly reduce the hangover.
