Just interested to see what sporting teams us sport lovers here support. This is any sports so lets hear them.

Me i support Liverpool FC in the English premier league, Port Adelaide in the Afl(our national aussie rules competition) and Port Magpies in the Sanfl(State league aussie rules comp). For all of these my dad was my main infulence he was Born in Liverpool so it was either Liverpool or Everton and im happy dad was on the red side as we have had alot more trophy success then the blue side. My dad was a Magpie fan from from the first time he came to Oz in 66 and now im black & white(club colours) to the bone. The Power finally was pretty straight forward as they are basically the Magpies big brother club in the Afl. I dont go to as many games as id like as i work every second weekend but i am very passionate about me teams probably a bit over the top sometime but its all good fun.

St. Louis Cardinals--grew up in STL, so I was born into it.

Minnesota Twins--hubby's from Minnesota, so I married into it.

Sioux Falls Pheasants (used to be Canaries)--nearest professional baseball team. Great little stadium--affordable tickets, good food, cheap(ish) beer.

Menno Mad Frogs--local team.

Blu Team. I've always liked them better, but I don't know why.

Instead of supporting a team I make it a point to piss on AFC Ajax as much as I can. that's way more fun.

Cleveland Caveliers (not a big basketball fan but love watching Labron James play..guy is amazing)
New England Patriots (born and raised)

I don't support any teams at all. : ]

If I were to watch two teams play a match of something I'd support the athleticism and skill in general.

Would support a team I knew personally perhaps.

Sadly I'm doomed to support my local Kansas City teams. Both national sports franchises suck more than a Dayson overclocked to 1.21 Gigawatts.

Tha Royals
Da Chiefs

:( Will we ever see the playoff's again, I dont think so. But none the less I can go to a cheap Royals game and see The Yankees or the Sox and enjoy an inexpensive day at the park.

Even the local soccer team is crap, KC Wizards.

Indianapolis Colts - Been a fan from Day 1 of "the move". Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and we don't have an NFL franchise...and couldn't see myself being a Seahawks fan. Just so happens that most of my family is from Muncie, Indiana...when I was a kid it made sense! :p

Oregon Ducks - This is where my (birth) location comes into play...but what a bunch of fuck-ups their football team has become huh?

For you oconus peeps out there:

I hear they're looking for players...or maybe is was "playa's"...

I have more teams that I *hate* than teams that I like, but that's probably a topic for another time.

Washington Redskins, New York Yankees and Syracuse Orangeman. Why the Redskins? Well, they were one of the teams playing the very first time I watched a football game when I was 9. I watched John Riggins run over the NY Giants defense. I was hooked. The Yankees? Well, I grew up in NY, and when I starting watching baseball all of my friends were Yankees fans. As I watched more games, I became a Don Mattingly fan. The rest is history. The Orangeman? Well I grew up an hour from SU. So, I went to numerous football and basketball games. I had a chance to meet players, and actually have an autograph from Donovan McNabb when he was at SU.

Barcelona, simply because I am mesmerised by the way they play football; the Irish Rugby Team, because they have succeeded where politics have failed in uniting both the north and south of my country, with fdevastating effects; Northern Ireland football team, because you can't change where you're from; in general, the underdog where I have no vested interests.

I like the Browns too. They were 5-11 last year, not too bad. My Rams were 1-15...

Also thumbs up for Bucs, Tampa is in my area

Oakland Raiders i like the looks and i like the fact that usually there the washed up old guys looking for a last ditch effort at glory

example the Raiders team they made it to the super bowl in 2002.

there the under dogs a team only a dedicated fan can watch after years of heartbreaking losses.

I am a fan of the silver and black

SF 49ers
AZ Cardinals
if they're playing each other SF takes priority
umm thatz about it, used to support the Dbacks, then they got rid of all the veterans who could play in favor of cheaper rookies who can't, change the team colors making all my stuff worthless, and changed the stadium name so yeah no loyalty to the fans = no loyaty to the team and no one goes to their games anymore and they have record losses (both on the field and off) each year

and never been a b-ball fan.

Lol like Randy Johnson?

kinda, more luis gonzalez, craig councel, etc.

players that can consistenly get on base, have large fan recognition, and aren't full of ego.

instead they go with superego rookies who couldn't hit a fast ball if it were pitched by a women's jr varsity highschooler.
