So, maybe I'm getting old and crotchety, and maybe I was just looking for an excuse to bitch, but here is the e-mail I just fired off to the Egg.
I'm sure it will take time to get used to, but as of now I find your reworking/face lift to your shopping pages to be much more cumbersome, takes up more space, and inferior to the old typeface/layout. If I have selected an option that has changed my viewing, please let me know, otherwise I think it was best to leave something that wasn't broken alone. http://img.techpowerup.org/100328/Untitled125.jpg As can be seen, the new layout takes up much more room vertically, and is more convoluted. I spend a lot of time browsing and shopping with you, and am unhappy with the changes. Thanks for your time, Alex
Yes, I do hate change.

The only thing they did was make the prices slightly bigger and bold them. Other then that its exactly the same.

That's what I thought at first, but the divisions between products, as well as the room each product takes up is different.
Honestly, am I going to have to report you to the Secret Service to make you see things my way?:)

Well of course those 2 things are different, its because the room the prices take is greater than before. I see really nothing wrong with a larger price font. Just means they arent trying to hide anything.

I saw that too and was annoyed. I don't remember what I did but I got around it (searching, maybe).

Yes, I do hate change.I also noticed when searching for monitors, that they don't show as many details about the product in the list. The new layout is actually less informative. Most monitors don't even have their damn resolution listed, let alone oither relevant specs, like viewing angle.
The new layout is shit.

Why then, do they now list the prices with mail in rebates already subtracted, instead of like before where they listed what you actually pay, then tell you about the mail in rebate?
I almost bought ram the other day that I could've afforded if the listed price was actually what I would've paid, but the listed price subtracted a mail in rebate. Thank god I pay attention, otherwise I could've bounced something.

Yeah, would suck to buy and possibly not get the rebate:

There's actually a blog of sorts (http://www.zug.com/pranks/outgoing/) by a guy that sent fake messages like that to a bunch of companies and got all sorts of coupons and shit.
