Yeah, some people either stupid or to rich. Found a HP Pavilion dv9244, they had removed the harddrive(s?) and memory.
Why they thrown it away? They never cleaned the heatsink from dust, so the AMD cpu was wasted.. Also a bit of one of the things holding the memory (retainer?) was damaged, fixed it with some plastic padding.

..What did I do? Got memory, borrowed a 2,5" HDD and bought a 2:nd hand AMD Turion.

Looks like they threw out some money almost.. 17" screen, dvd writer with lightscribe, everything almost as brand new.

This was about 2 months ago, but still.. It felt like "Dude, wtf?! Who the he.. throws away something like this?!?"

If I ever meet them, I'll have to thank them for it!

I also found my stolen bike just chilling in a neighbor's yard once LOL. Needless to say, I walked over and stole it back. A lady came out like "wtf are you doing?" and I told her that I was taking back the bike her son stole, and then she realized that she hadn't seen the bike before lol.

edit: I gotta thank the kid though, he washed all the mud off for me.
