I found this really old stash of tea bags I set asside for work around 3-5years ago....
the tea has been stored in a cool dry place in an airtight container - but the thing that worries me the most is if its actually safe to drink after so many years. I tried to google old tea bags but i couldnt find anything on it asside from an old hag moaning about hating to throw away old teabags... some did mention that the teabags might have gone stale.
Anyhoo - throwing caution into the wind, im sitting here sipping tea which is almost 5years old...

any tea drinkers in the house??

Teabagging is safe.
Just drink it, worst case you end up on the toilet.

Tea and water are all I ever drink.
I drink from the three year old teabags at my grandparent's house all the time. It never tastes like plastic tho, they've always kept them in old glass jars.

+1 I keep all my stored food in glass. I can't stand plastic. I drink Earl Grey every day.

well - I needed a small container to take them to work back when i used to do shift work. I quit that job not long after & I left the tea bags sitting in the same plastic container i took them to work in. the plan was to finish them in the week - not put them in storage for upto 5 years

I drink coffee in the mornings. In the afternoon it's rare that I have tea. Normally just water.

I started drinking green tea for it's antioxidants and because it's a fairly cheap detox agent not to mention easier on the stomach then the darker teas.

Looks like you might need to drop some laxative in that tea; from the looks of that avatar.:)
Earl Grey and/or Irish Breakfast in the morning and Kona Coffee in the evening.

Not a fan of tea, though I haven't really tried it other than a your typical tea with water. Never tried it with milk, or any of that green tea stuff which I heard is good for you.
I'm more of a coffee man but I don't find myself drinking it much anymore lol

I cracked open a box of yorkshire tea - very nice stuff - IMHO its a lot better then PG & tetley but then those 2 brands are pretty mainstream & generic

I bought some Tetleys for the flat the other day. It was on special, cost me something like £2 for about 9,001 teabags (or so it seems).
Never really drank tea heavily until I came to England. It's almost as if it seeps into your bones here.

I'm drinking green tea with lemon and honey. Was drinking kava tea and adding extra kava to that for some relaxation, and sleepytime with vanilla and a touch of honey.
