As this is freshly installed forum a lot can be changed. Please let us know what you'd like to see different.
Please give as many details as possible. If you want to see a different skin (I can imagine this being so) recommend one. Want to see nice user titles, get our train of thought going.

New skin for sure. The type that TPU and GPU uses has to be the best one that I have seen on a forum. One of my favorites. User titles mean alot to some users, I am not one of them, maybe just having a standard progression by post count?

Larger Avatars/moving avatars/larger sigs have always been a topic of discussion at TPU, I am not sure about here. If there were more mods, then it would be less of a hassle.

Currently, thats all I can think of.

I have a few Suggestions. How about a member to do news here? like over at Tpu, they can find a few headlines from around the world each day and post them. Also dan do you plan on using the same setup as TPU? Like mods Colors will be different, sigs for our posts etc? I would like that. I'm trying to think of more things...I will add more later when they come to thought.

The first two points I agree with. The third, even though I hate people who are unable to communicate at a normal level, kinda conflicts with the nature of this forum. That's something that applies to TPU, but here we shouldn't care too much.

Actually I agree. but I think that function has some annoying side effects, like when you preview a post with [IMG] tags in it they change to [URL] tags. At least I think they are related. I had a whinge and moan to W1zz about that one, dunno if he's done anything

I feel the thanks below each post is cumbersome, and should be made to look a little more like TPU's. For instance we could drop "The Following User Says Thank You to dr emulator (madmax) For This Useful Post:" to "Users that say thanks:". It doesn't need to reiterate who it is as its right beneath their post, and all the extra words look bulky.

As for the listed users area, the date is a handy feature though it usually takes up more space than the name itself. Whether or not this is left, removed or changed to something smaller (10/30/09) doesn't really matter to me. The thanks area could definitely be streamlined though.

Oh, and can we please get the :laugh: smilie?

Well I had searched for it in my pm's here but I fell in the same 'trap' as searching for it in the same place as the TPU pm's and didn't find it.
