They just stopped working, the brakes and blinkers still work, but the running lights are kaput. I found out the day I put in my stereo, so I tore apart my dash again making sure something didn't get disconnected (I had the opposite problem once and it was a connection under my dash) but everything looks good. I haven't checked the fuse yet, but I'm not sure if there's anything else that could be causing it. Any ideas?

I'd guess the fuse but it could be that both bulbs went bad. Maybe one was bad for a while but you didn't notice until they both went.

Center Console usually tells me if I have a burned out bulb... so my vote is either a fuse or in the line somewhere.
I appreciate the tip tho.

Ooooo. Mr. Fancy Pants. But I guess that is a pretty nice car so I should have figured.

I've been driving Hondas for about 25 years and they don't tell you shit. The 2008 Si I have now is the first one to even tell me that i'd left my headlights on. Can you believe that? The 92 Si just sat there. No warning of any kind.

Anyway, good luck.

I bet the stereo got wired in the black being the ground wire. When it was really the tail light power, and when the car was turned on the tail light fuse burned up. Confusing the owner cause the stereo works during the day with brake lights.

That could definitely happen if you try to hard wire the stereo instead of using a wiring harness. Even my 92 Honda had a harness though. IDK.

Update: Pulled out all the fuses and they're all fine. I really don't know what the problem is at this point. Like twilyth said I used a wiring harness designed for my car, so there shouldn't have been any risk of crossing a ground and a negative.
I really have no idea what might be causing it now. :(

You really should check the bulbs even though your car is supposed to tell you if they're burnt out. If you don't want to buy replacement bulbs use your multimeter to see if the there is power at the bulb wiring harness.

No power on the harness where the bulb plugs in, replaced every fuse, tore the dash apart again, took out the stereo, took a look at the headlight switch and it looked fine (at least It looked fine to me, I don't know what it would look like good or bad, as it was the first time I ever pulled it out and looked at it.)
There's probably a short in the harness somewhere... I have no idea. I'm probably going to buy my friend's Grand Am and let my Imperial sit in my grandparents back yard until I have the money/time/know-how to fix it or have it fixed.
