Actually I love me, but today was a bad day.
First I get up for work and I can feel the beginnings of a sore throat coming on. I leave the house 10 minutes early so I can stop and Meijer and pick up an AMP on the way to work. I get on the road and my first left turn is so busy that I had to wait five full minutes to before I could get on the road, then once I *AM* able to turn I get stuck behind Grandpa Dick-face and Granny McAsshole driving fifteen under the speed limit.
Anyway, I finally get to Meijer about eight minutes behind schedule and the door that's usually open is locked, so I have to walk across the parking lot to the other entrance about 100m away, wasting more time. I expected the check outs by the open door to be the ones that were open, but no... they had the opposite checkouts open (dumbasses) so I had to walk about another 100m back to the open checkouts and then 100m back to get to the exit and then another 100m to get back to my car. Now I'm about ten minutes behind schedule. I had to turn left AGAIN and it took like another three minutes for traffic to open... finally I stroll into work about five minutes late (Keep in mind that I gave myself 35 minutes to get there and I live little over four miles from where I work) Luckily my boss is cool and didn't care.
BUT... today was one of those days where every single person you encounter decides they're going to be an asshole, and two of my coworkers called in causing me to have to double cover for two missing people and stay five hours past my shift's end.
Finally Chelsea shows up (coworker that I've been dating for a few weeks) and I figure that will help my day out... I was wrong... I was wrong.
Basically we were talking and one of my co-workers said something about how it's cool we're all friends, I said something about being Chelsea's friend and she fucking buried me emotionally with a comment that basically told me we're not having a relationship and that we're not even really friends.
Oh yeah, and I still can't figure out why my tail lights won't work.
FML.

PS: Thanks to anybody who read that rant.

Well first of all, what the hell happened with the blood?

Man, sounds like you had a pretty rough day... Just remember that tomorrow is a new day, and if today wasn't so bad, then tomorrow wouldn't seem as good. Alexandre Dumas said " “There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness.” and "Until the day when God will deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is contained in these two words,—‘Wait and hope.’” (actually I think those are paraphrased, or a different translation than I have, but I'm at work and sparknotes apparently has a different version of the book than I have) Point is, if bad stuff didn't happen, good stuff wouldn't be so great. So be angry when bad things happen, and be happy when good things happen. Events and emotions compliment each other and weave together to create what we call our lives. And everything, whether good or bad, makes up a part of life, and life, no matter what happens, is good.

Blood is from a random nosebleed. Happened literally like three minutes after posting that... I guess I let my blood pressure get too high.

Man, that sucks. Those are the worst days, but as said above... tomorrow will be a new day! Good luck man, and I hope your week gets better! :)

I read that whole thing, and I briefly thought (and laughed) about the severe amount of road rage I would have exhibited. Then I very briefly related to getting screwed into staying past your shift. If somebody no-shows or calls off, it's mandatory for me to stay if a replacement isn't found. (Small restaurant, not a lot of employees).

But the thing I thought the most was, "what a bitch".

What did she say exactly?

Sorry to hear you had a shit day.

If that chick won't stand up for you, or stand in your corner, or help you feel better when your down, or sacrifice just a little bit of herself to help you out, kick her to the curb, or in the c***, preferably both.

I know that won't help make you feel better, but beyond your troubles of the day, she made me mad by leaving you out to dry:mad:
