So which festivals are you lot visiting this year?


Graspop Metal Meeting (http://graspop.be) and Wacken Open Air (http://www.wacken.com) for me this year. So basically nothing new for me.

I was going to go to Oxegen (http://2010.oxegen.ie/) this summer but didn't want to spend €200 for the 3 day ticket when I only wanted to see Eminem, Jay-Z and The Prodigy. When tickets went on sale only some of the line up was announced. Then a few weeks later after I spent my money they announced more of the line-up, then a few weeks after that even more, adding Dizzee Rascal, Faithless, Fat Boy Slim, Armand Van Helden and Steve Angello to name a few and D12 were only announced 2 days ago.

You can buy day tickets for €100 each, but there still isn't a full timetable so it's not worth buying a day ticket without knowing who plays what day and the ticket is specific to each day i.e Friday ticket, Saturday ticket, it also costs €20 to get the bus there each day as it's in the ass end of nowhere.

At the end of the day, it wasn't worth spending €400 to see 3 acts. And you usually end up getting rained on and covered in mud. Not to mention if I was in the Dance Arena I'd probably get into a fight with some retard off their head on E.

There really aren't any festivals around here that I would want to go to.

Heavy Mtl (http://2010.heavymtl.com/). Saturday only, because the Sunday lineup is pretty crap. Basically, all that's metal is on Saturday, all the core is on Sunday.
Ottawa Bluesfest (http://www.ottawabluesfest.ca/). Iron Maiden and Rush are playing...lol.

Not really a festival but The Summer Slaughter Tour (http://www.myspace.com/summerslaughtertour) as well.

lol, I looked at the lineup and you're right. It's half cool and half gay. It's like bisexual. I'd go to it on the Saturday, if it was around here and I had a group of friends to go with.
