here is something to add to that
The Iphone can now tether
However you have to pay $20 for it to work
and you must be on the 2gb data plan for $25
If you have the unlimited data plan (no longer available must be grandfathered in for it) you cannot tether you must be on the 2gb plan

If you go over your Data plan and have your Iphone tethered you will be charged twice the normal fee for data usage LOLz
So it will cost $45 to tether and $1 per mb after 2gb

Yeah that sux for the states. pretty well every provider in Canada has the iphone now. We havent got the iPhone 4 yet. But ive been able to tether mine for a while. cant say ive tried though, my 500mb limit would burn quick
