hmm thinking they already have the game forum at tpu, but if you want to talk about monopoly, pretty sure that's fair game.

As far as board games, Axis & Allies is my all time favorite. In high school we used to have some real marathon games, which I usually won. Unless my friend Aaron was banking. "Hey, how can you afford all those tanks and fighters?" "I've been saving!" he'd reply. Shifty little bastard.

lol I remeber playing it all night at the college dorms, the RA's would open up the downstairs office and we would setup a game in there. We never had any banker issues like that but there was always an interesting "gang up on the US" action that happened 2 or so hours in.

Are there any good MMORPG I should look into that are faster rewarding than for example WOW and WAR which kill your time in quests being ridiculously long and often boring - and even then not very rewarding.

Edit: Just opened an account in Second Life - maybe that is what I was looking for having fun without end :)

yeah, once you played it 5 or so times you could pretty much get it right off though.

Tried to get SC2 tonight at a midnight release. The line-up was huge so i said screw it and went home. I hope i can find a copy after work tomorrow.

SC?
Is that Settlers of Catan?
I played it once, but not enough gun play for me.

Try World of Tanks when it comes out. It's a closed beta atm but its fun and I hate WoW and other RPG's like that.

Another game that sticks out from my early childhood was Masterpiece. You would buy paintings from the bank, and draw a card to determine it's value. You could put these up for auction, while noone knew what your value card was. I could always pawn forgerys off on my Sister for millions:p

It doesn't sound too exciting, but it was very original and fun. Also, the painting cards were legit classics with a synopsis on the back. That in itself was pretty cool.
