I'm not a massive sports fan, but with our best WR out for a while I havent really been interested in watching and been hoping to see them pick up a quality WR. I'm pretty stoked about them picking up Moss for just a 3rd Round pick, will be nice to see him back.

Too bad we are 24th in passing right now.

Holy crap, that is shocking as hell. Can't believe the pats would trade him for so little.

Probably because he's a trash talking malcontent. Oh well, I just hope it brings a good season for Farve. He is one classy dude.

Most Montanans who have lived here more than ten years will never forget the spanking that Moss put on the Grizzlies when he was at Marshall. He pretty much single handedly dashed their hopes for another national title. Man, he was something to see back then. Other than the fact that he knew he was good, and was a prick about it. I loathe jive talking and shaking, one of the reasons Lou Holtz was a hero of mine. Act like you've scored before, and plan on doing it again.

Moss maybe a bit of a trash talker, but he's damn good, and I know he's wanted back in MN for some while, so hopefully that means he's going to tear up the field. When now our 2nd best WR comes back, I don't know how well anyone is going to be able to cover the pass and the run that well.

The Vikings have a huge problem though, a dried up beef jerky of a quarterback. Tavaris Jackson doesn't inspire much confidence either.

Eh, the problem was that the best WR we have was out, and the other was questionable with migranes. With some good wideouts now, they won't be able to pressure him much, he may move like an old man, but he still fires a missile, no pressure and he'll throw a blistering pass to the WR's.

I don't really like Farve since he was a rival back in the day and he likes to whine and hold out to get as much attention as possible, but I will give him credit, he has a rocket propelled arm with a guidance system. Lets just hope he doesn't get injured, because we could have got the bowl last year, too many damn fumbles and still was a close game, we Moss this year, once we get our other WR back, it shouldn't even be a problem.

I am a bitter NFC rival and I still haven't forgotten the Jared Allen/Tony Romo beatdown last year, so I hope they still suck. Still, the offensive weapons don't always mean everything. Look at Dallas, three good RB's, one great QB, one great WR, one really good WR, an elite TE, and Roy Williams, yet we are 1-2 right now.

Yeah, but we also have a solid Defense, just a rough start since injured Offense.

It's a shame he has no one to throw to him.

Moss isn't going to help much. The Viqueens would of been better off getting another offensive lineman to help them out.

If this was last year, your argument would be invalid.

I'm well aware. I'm also a fan of Favre. I just wish his line could hold up so he can quit throwing touchdown passes to his opponents.

I wouldn't call myself a fan but I like how good he made the Vikings last year.

Yeah he completed the team, the team was very good, but missing a QB, now with Moss, theres just so many threats, and Favre is now listed as FP on the injury reports, so he'll be in for Game 5 against the Jets. He's been feeling pressure on Pass Rush because our best Wide Out is injured, so the balls either going to be Ran, or thrown to a lesser WR, so they don't need to double cover deep and can send in Line backers. With more threats out there, double covering will have to be done, allowing more time in the pocket.
