I didn't unfriend anybody, but I'm thinking of suspending my Facebook account, because there's not much happening there and the whole thing feels like a waste of time.

I didn't, because I never joined up with it in the first place.

I didn't unfriend - mainly because I'm kinda using facebook to advertise my business as well.... (Zuckerberg makes $$$ from FB so why shouldn't I?):D
So I'm in the process of discretely trying to get as many local 'friends' as possible.(ww) Good for business...
For me FB is a very useful application, but only because:
First of all I "liked" anything related to computer retail outlets, hardware manufacturers, reviewers, game developers etc and also websites related to my business so as soon as I open FB the page is full of interesting stuff to read.
Secondly I blocked ALL game applications (very important otherwise the page would be littered by people saying they won a cow, or asking for a cow, or asking help for their cow to be milked etc...)
Thirdly I group friends as follows ;)

This way I share and promote work stuff with 'work' friends and 'total strangers', I share family pictures only with my relatives in Canada and close family, I share computer related stuff with those under the TPU tag... all of this enables sharing pics/wallposts with a certain section of 'friends' to the exclusion of other 'friends'.

I keep all the people who friend me on facebook and never delete them. It makes me look cooler.

All I see on my fb is people constantly attention seeking. It's an excellent information gathering tool because people fucking say every molecule of their boringass unimportant lives. Generally doesn't apply to any TPU'ers mostly the attention seeking scene kids which make up the majority of the UK these days.

Give me a licence to kill, rifle and a week.
They're fucking annoying with all their attention seeking.

I'm an ex-goth kid in refuge. I watched the rise and fall of the scene movement... it wasn't pretty. Unfortunately we've come full circle to the 90's and back to pop...
