Got to see the first one in Central KY a few days ago, snapped some pics with my Centro.

Apologies for the finger in the lens in a few of them, I couldn't see the display, as using a Palm in the sunlight is like gouging your eyes out with a spoon:

Visiblity from the inside from the perspective of someone who is 5'8.

Leaves a bit to be desired.

Overall, aside from visiblity, it's mean!

Love the "old style" guage clusters. Very nice looking car.

Agreed with the Automatic, but that is one MEAN ASS 6 cylinder. 306HP is nothing to sneeze at since the mighty LT1 was only 275HP and the 4.6L in my GT Stang is only 215HP. 0-60 in 6 seconds on a 6 banger in a 3800LBS car aint bad at all.

gonna have to agree, especially with the automatic, I mean it's not even sports shift.

give me the good ol chevy 5.7 with a 6 speed manual in that thing. Then we'd be talking.

If I were buying one I'd get the 422hp V8 with 6MT. but the 6AT is paddle shifted for novelty reasons.

I do agree, but the funny thing is, that V6 will give the Mustang GT's a good run for their money, thats just funny.

Any of the late model GT's would walk, no make that STOMP the RS. 0-60 or the quarter.

The SS, that's another story.

Agreed, my NPI 4.6L in my 96GT runs to 60 in 6 seconds. Of course, I also have nearly 1000LBS on it, but it has nearly 100HP on me.

My 4 year old 4-door family (Altima) car with a V6 does that. AND I HAVE AN A/T!:p
Imaging driving home with your new RS, and getting walked on by mildley modded 4-door sedans all the way home:(

My point is, If I were to get a Camaro, V8 FTW!!!

I'm not saying the Camaro would beat the Stang, especially not 0-60, but stangs don't trap much over 100 stock which is what the RS is right around for quiet a bit less.

**Edited** - I read it wrong before :p
But your car won't trap around 100, maybe 94 - 95 if you got a few things done to it, the 96 - 98 4.6L SOHC motors are notriously doggy, I destroyed one from a 30 roll in my old Taurus SHO. Also your Stang must have something done to it, those cars were closer to 6.5's 0 - 60, I know half a second doesn't sound like much, but thats only by 60, the number will be quiet a bit larger by the end of a 1/4, just like .1 in 60ft is a lot. BTW I got a 96 Lincoln Continental sitting in my parents field with a good running DOHC 4.6L, too bad your so far away, wish I could find someone with a GT up here who would be interested in picking it up for cheap to toss the Cobra motor in their car.

i don't like it. one of the most boring and generic designs i've seen. i hate all this retro crap coming out of Detroit. hopefully with all the bankruptcies and restructuring these retro abominations will see their final day

Yeah, my mustang isn't stock. I have 3.55 gears for sure and I think that I have a set of stage 1 cams on it. Unfortunately, I hear that the conti has a different bellhousing bolt pattern from the mustang. I know that the MarkVIII works, but no one has confirmed that the conti works.
