SO the girlfriend has picked up a 2002 Mercury Sable V6 limited edition, and i was wondering if anyone knows of any mileage chips tuners, etic or even an idle mod that i can do for winter time.
She is putting In a remote start for the car as well, and i would just like to know if there are any chips tuners etic for this car, as gas engine i seem to have forgotten all about over the current diesel era im living in.

Just make sure the plugs, wires, etc. are good, fluids good and all that stuff. It's a Sable, don't bother with chips, tuners and crap like that with that car.

Which engine? If a Duratec, it has some aftermarket support. If not a Duratec, don't bother. Chips and tuners generally don't do much on naturally aspirated cars tho.

There's not much aftermarket stuff for Taurus and Sable. Trust me.
And if it has the Vulcan, there is no hope to make it faster
on the fenders, is there a badge saying "24 Valve DOHC" ??

If it's an 02 it will be a Duratec 3.0. They are decent for what they are, but I wouldn't worry about making it any faster. And getting an extra mileage out of it, probably won't happen.
