My damn wireless mouse is giving me trouble, it keeps stuttering even though the reciever is not even a foot away from it. My router is dieing, my video card died and left me with an integrated 8100 a while ago and due to complications with my bank account and paypal it took me a long ass time to pay the guy who offered a 7900GT for cheap. Unfortunately, he lives far away in Canada and it's going to take a long time to ship it here. He shipped it Tuesday, I thought hopefully I would have it by yesterday (Saturday) but it wasn't there when I checked the mail so I'm stuck waiting some more. All I ever do is wait and kill hardware I don't have money to replace.

I kill my motherboard.....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: .. and I don't have money to replace the parts, so I'm stuck on the laptop or my damn fileserver which has 512MB of DDR, and a XP 1600+ :( [so slow compared to a X2 5000+ @ 3.2GHz and 4GB's of DDR2 @ 850MHz 4-4-4-11]

Not only that, I'm sure your mom knows you are well into the "boobs are good" age. No big deal, in my eyes.

Here's my rant...

I can't understand the nonsense posted in the tech/troubleshooting section of Bethesda's Forums whenever advice is asked on Fallout3...

1) Vista's pagefile usage should be 600-800MB and to get the game running fine you got to run a clean-boot.
My pagefile's always in the region of 1800-2000MB on Vista on 2 computers and I run the game fine!

2) You have to remove Nero.
I have Nero on both pc's and game runs fine...

3) You have to disable ffdshow and install Klite Codec for FO3 to run.
Well you can guess my answer - I got both ffdshow and Nero...

4) FO3 hates quad cores, you have to do such and such fix in the ini to make it work.
I run it fine on lappie's Q9450.

5) FO3 hates overclocked hardware - downclock to stock and it will run fine.
It runs very fine on my E8400 @ 4Ghz and 8800GT @ 720/1782/1015 thank you.

6) FO3 hates onboard sound - get a real soundcard.
Game runs fine on my lappie with onboard sound...

7) FO3 hates SLI and in effect only one card gets used because it doesn't support SLI.
Then how do you explain FO3 working fine on my SLI laptop? And getting 40 fps if I disable SLI and 60 fps when I enable it?

8) The 1.4 patch 'broke VATS'.
Then why didn't it 'break' both my installations?

9) The 1.5 patch causes crashes on exit.
Then why doesn't it to both my installations? Recently I had a driver upgrade difficulty - I tested several nvidia settings quitting and restarting the game like 40 times.... without a single crash...

Usually the tech support on those website forums are useless though. I mean I posted a couple year ago on the bf2 forums that I was getting crashes and everyone said I should have got an intel processor :mad: Honestly I'd just ignore there shit.
