im not exactly depressed here.... just not happy with the way the economy is working.

money.... doesnt exist and its almost immpossible to find/earn

no one wants to buy any of my pc hardware or anything else i need to sell(tools, household items, furnature, etc.)

im not happy with my computers anymore, i need something new that hasnt come out yet.

i feel like im waiting for something new to happen.

i know... "you have to chase it". no... I HAVE. IT is not out there... whatever IT is. and yes "you have to be open". i have been. there is nothing.

im thinking i need to sell everything and just travel.... but how will i make money?(any ideas?)

idk wtf im even trying to say here... but if you get me, say somethin. lol

Sounds like you got an addiction that is no longer satisfying you which leads to a side of depression. See a shrink.

ok, then that need is satisfied. :D

you may need to focus on non hardware things like cars or books for a time, then come back to hardware where there are things that u didnt have before.

Exactly what I am trying to do. Bought a Mustang GT and I am rebuilding the motor. Suddenly PC gaming is non important.

Well, what are your passions in life? Take those and try to find a way to make money with it. What do you enjoy doing?

so, you cant be without doing something. Ok, that explains this.

i have sex 5 times a day... if not more.

ok, spend all energy you can in diferent things but be focused on them so you enjoy them. Ex: Gym, sex, gaming, oc session, tv, car, sex.

Find something better to spend your time on.

I used to be really depressed and the likes, then on my 18th birthday I got invited to play soccer with a friend.

I'd never played before, but had grown up watching it...

Now, not only am I on a team in a competitive league, but I've made more, better friends than I would've ever imagined and now have a new passion in life. In fact, I haven't upgraded my PC since.

Go do some exercise with some of your friends, go for runs etc. I started doing this a couple of months ago every other wednesday at the school gym with a couple of very good friends, I've now got to the point of going for runs on my own just for the hell of it as I felt that I was unhealthily fat. Now I'm able to run 1.5 miles in 1 minute 10 seconds carrying 5kG of stuff with the express purpose of getting onto a school team, doing this has cheered me up so much it's unbelievable. It's also drastically reduced the amount of gaming I've done recently and I've becmoe a much more likable person as well (judging this from the group of friends I've gained in the last 6 months.
Edit: Basically set yourself an aim for something and then give it your damn best shot, I've been trying to get on the Welbeck team for the last two years and have only just managed to make it onto the B team but knowing that I've got that far towards it has given me motivation to start training properly for it (wudda helped if I'd been told I was on the team a couple of weeks before the competition rather tha the week before hand).

Not true. Racing or extreme sports. You choose. :)

That'll depend on how good he is, 90% of people who do it for enjoyment probably aren't good enough to do it professionally. Then again if he cycles as well as he OCs he'll get a boatload of cash.

Practice?
If you put the time in you'll get better, feel better about yourself and be doing something you enjoy. I'd also say try and keep some structure in your life, that's something I'm finding doesn't help make me happy right now (Finished my GCSE exams and the only things to do are play games, go out running, read or watch the telly as I'm skint as hell so can't go out with friends, this has left me with an activity vacuum I guess you could say).

Like I said in your "A chilling Tale" thread, people are looking for A/C Hvac people all the time.

My brother traveled Europe in the 80's with a Clarinet he played on the street corners. He made more money doing that than having a JOB.
When he lived in France he was making around 200 Francs a day!!

Sounds like your bored...time for a "Road Trip"?

Crazy Pyro

So he made £20 a day roughly, if he was working for anything over 3 and a half hours he was below minimum wage which is pretty crappy.

Thats at todays rate...when my brother did it it was the early 80's, and he had money to spare.

The point I'm making is that you don't need much more than a little "talent" in order to survive, and that most "pan-handlers" on the street make more than you would think.

I know a man that makes close to $300 a day asking for "hand-outs". He has a nicer car and house than I do. 12 years ago he was broke living under a bridge and hiding from the world!

well sounds like you need a job and some money. the adhd doesn't help, but you will have to learn to manage that. you just have to. w/e it takes. idk where you live but low or no cost counseling should be an option if possible

your GF is pregnant, you're going to have a kid. thats great. i don't think you are depressed because you seem to enjoy things and want to do things. and you do. you bike 4 miles a day. thats great most people just sit an their ass

use w/e skills you have to get a job. get ANY job you can. doesn't matter what it is. you say money is impossible to earn and work impossible to find? but that isn't true where i live (L.A. area) if you look and aren't too picky. might not be so great, but its someting to do and you'll make some money

so, get off the internet and go do something! :p
