4 built, 2 ran, and there is still nothing like it design wise.
Ford Nucleon
http://www.thenextcorner.com/Ford-Nucleon.jpg
Never built beyond prototype because it would have a nuclear reactor.
Dodge T-Rex

Muscle is where it's at, I like older mustangs, my Uncle has a 68 GT Fastback, I love the 69's and 70's, but anything newer just is way too common.

1948 tucker
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Tucker_Sedan
only 51 made first card with headlight that turned with the wheel plus plenty more innovations we didn't see come out until 50 years later.
1967 Mangusta
http://www.qv500.com/detomasoregistrymang0508.php
Preceded the Pantera brand 400 made from 1967-71. Rare exotic that's easy to repair because of the use of Ford parts.

Only 3 were ever made and those are the 3. They are all so sexy and it is sad this car was never made, but I think the targa is the best looking.

I believe only 1 was made by Dodge then 6 more were made by another company for the movie The Wraith. Those 6 could have also been made by Dodge, it's just running th 2.2L Turbo that 80's Mopars are famous for, pretty cool though.

The first thing I thought when I saw that was Jaguar XJ220. It is surprisingly similar design cues and even come from a similar year (1991 vs 1992). It's got a pretty sad engine in it though by comparison (380 bhp vs 549 bhp). Still, it is an interesting find I never knew existed.

Only 10 ever built.

Ford Indigo (http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/1117/Ford-Indigo-Concept.html)
Only 2 prototypes built, only one of which was a running example. Houses the V12 that went on to power the V12 Aston Martins.

They had that car in the PS1 game NFS II SE, that game also had the GT90 in it, now I'm betting you will be scouring for this game, lol. Oh and the game also had the Indigo I do believe that Wile E just mentioned. And another interesting fact is that Indigo used a pretty much end to end Duratec v6 f3.0L that was used in that Tauruses, of coarse with some changes. But really that almost same engine went on to be used by Aston Martin. Always made me laugh thinking how badass people though Astons were and how crappy a Taurus was when they were using the same type of motor.

I wish they Aston didn't have the plastic covering it, but you can see the front of the valve covers is exactly the same and oil cap placement is dead on, it might even be the exact same motor. Also you can see the intake on the pass side of the motor just like the Indigo.

I have it, played it for about four minutes to realize the graphics are too outdated to really be fun when there's a lot of newer, better games out like NFS: High Stakes. ;)
The Indigo was co-developed with the GT90. They premiered at the same time and even featured the same type of the headlights.

Back when NFS II SE came out it was an awesome game and one of the only games that had cockpit views for a long time, was a ton of fun. Plus one level you could knock over an outhouse then push it around, use to always have fun with that, lol.

You want to talk rare? My dad had a 69 mustang Mach 1 with a factory 390 in it. Unfortunately he traded it in on a 76 when the gas prices went up. I would kill to have that car today, it's ridiculous how few were made with the 390 in it.

Yeah thats rare for sure. My Uncles has only 26k on it, but it isn't anythign special, just HI-PO 289 and 4 speed, fun car though. They also got a 77 T/A with 23k on it and a 66 Torino with 15k on it. Makes me sad to see all those cars sitting there.
I wish I had a digital camera from when my dad did a frame off resto on a 69 Chevelle SS 396 Convertible 4 speed. The SS, convert, and especially 4 speed were all pretty rare and this car had them all. They don't even make aftermarket or factory floorboards for the 4 speeds, my dad had to buy auto floor boards then do a bit of work to make them fit.

Nice. My parents were classic car dealers in the 80's and 90's. Had ALOT of rare cars. The most exotic:
Jensen Interceptor. Ours had the dodge 440 in it. The radiator was too damned small on these cars and the Texas heat caused it to get hot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jensen_Interceptor
57 Chevrolet Convertible. They brought it home in boxes and my dad pieced it back together for a full restoration.
69 Chevelle SS 396. Sucker never did run right due to an aftermarket carb on it.
78 Porsche 928 Grey Market, straight from Germany. Bought it from a news anchorman, his ex wife vandalized it.
Those are all I can think of off the top of my head, but I know that there were several corvettes, a 56 Cadillac, lincolns, etc. Sad thing is that I was too young to drive them.

Nice lineup of cars there, I know that feeling about being too young, my dad didn't own that Chevelle, he owned an autobody business. Allowed me to see alot of nice cars pass through.

anybody can come up with photos of the 935, im lazy to search
I would totally drive the shit out of that Ford Tonka.. that thing is a f!@king beast!..
Do you know if they are going to actually release something like that or is that one of those "concept" cars/trucks that never get made?
I got to drive one of those Dodge T-Rex's about 3 years ago.. Nice and rugged but not a smooth ride at all. Really good for work/farm/adn mudd'n :D Only seen 3 of them in real life.. the one I got to drive was at a customer's house that we were installing cabinets in.. one of those guys who has too much money.. Guy spent $80,000 in just the cabinets alone... Took about 1 week to do a 1/2 day's work.. such a pesky person to work for, everything had to be perfect and he stood over your shoulder 24/7 while we would work.. what a PITA. But he did show us his toys.. :D

The Tonka (http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z4564/Ford-F-350-Tonka-Concept.aspx) (a concept truck) had a lot of features that never made it mainstream like the hydraulic launch assist (HLA) system and having the dualies at the rare set into the chassis so they don't stick out beyond the body of the truck. A lot of the other features of the truck made it into the newer F-250/F-350 trucks (like the grill and engine):
http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/superduty/
I think what really made it look awesome is the size of those tires and rims. They're huge (22" rims). The engine is the 6.0L that is currently being phased out. It was originally introduced in the Tonka concept back in 2002.
It sounds like the 2011 model-year trucks will even take more pages from the Tonka book. :D
The T-Rex isn't very practical, yeah. It looks tight though and that's all that matters. ROFL

Cool, thanks for the info.
Your right about the T-Rex.. the very first time I saw one was at a 4-H Agricultural Convention when I was a senior in high school, lol. We all thought it was the shit back then. When I got to actually drive one a few years ago(see previous post), it totally changed my mind. Looks cool though lol

Yeah, thats why so many look far better before they get translated into production. Like the new Camaro was suppose to be without a C-Pillar, but they just realized it needed one. I'm glad they put it on the inside glass as it still keeps the pillarless look.

The Ford Indigo (1996) concept pre-dates the Plymouth Prowler (1997). The Indigo was designed to showcase Indy car technology while the Prowler was modeled off of hot rods.

Well.... the ford's just a concept... the prowler actually made it into production so its better....
No im just kidding. I didnt know that the ford predated it, but I wasnt implying it was a copy of the prowler, just commenting that they looked similar.
