They were extracted from True Crime: New York City and out of all the songs, I could not identify these two because they lack lyrics and any mention in credits/music lists for the game.

I got them hosted (WMA format):
6082 (http://ford.koenvdw.com/6082.wma)
6083 (http://ford.koenvdw.com/6083.wma)

Anyone recognize them?

So, any of them it? It's possible they are both from the same artist.

It could very well be. I ran into that I had no clue it was him that did one of the songs I had becuase it was just track08artist02disc03.mp3 on some random trance mix disc (that was completly unlabelled) I DLed.
I ended up downloading it again by accident on another mix disc and it was the same song it was "tranzy state of mind" that ended up being the actual song name!

I know a lot about the artists and this kinda music since it's my main thing!!! LOL

it's amazing how some of these trance djs pull off what they do. factory team has tons of branches and aliases and the group has well over 1000 total songs in production/remix. Those two are the ones I've noticed with the most alaises/credits so far.

Well then, gimme the artist and title! :D

If I can be for sure it's him!!! I don't have all MIKE/Push's songs I would have to listen to all the 89 I have of him and that would be painstaking enough, let alone my vast collection of other artists I have that could be a match to it. I have tons of music that is like those tracks!

another possibility could be this dude that goes by "virtual server" but good luck finding all of it I know amazon has downloads of only two albums and I know of 2 more they don't have that are a pain to find.

the higest possibility it could have been custom made for the game, hence the silence, or the artist does not wish to be known. There are several trance artists that do that. they wish to be completely secret.

vincent de moor is another where nobody knows anything about him. only his birth year and his birth city and that's it. wiki him and see. He could have done it as well.

it seems artists with that particular sound love the secrecy. I respect it and like it though.

I can confirm its not factory team or aliases and it's not a mainstream like ATB/Armin/etc... They would want to be noticed more.

They are for sure older than November 2005 (when TC:NYC came out). That's about all I know.

this (http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/True_Crime:_New_York_City/soundtrack) is the longest list I could find and none of those sound it so far I searched for each on YT and none of those match....

I used that list to name the other 200 songs. XD

Edit: There's probably 2 dozen that aren't on that list but they had lyrics so I managed to identify them.

is that game any good? How did you like it?

FordGT90Concept

It's okay but like TC:Streets of L.A., it's got control issues. I'd probably give it a 7/10.

aww ok.... well i know that that song is (so far) not any of the MIKE/PUsh/whatever alaises I have fully listened to so far.... but I've got 11 hours of his music LOL... I've been skimming bits and pieces LOL...

FordGT90Concept

I can usually identify it within about the first 3 seconds of listening. So yeah, I'd definitely recommend skimming.

and just by length alone I can confirm it is none of his. Most of his songs are 7+ minutes long the avg one of his tracks is 9:30. could be a cut version but not likely.

Don't the developers have a blog or facespace page? Couldn't you just post the question there? If there are DRM concerns, I'm sure you could find a way around that.

After all, it's not like those people have lives, so you're pretty much guaranteed that they'll see you post within about 15 or 20 seconds.

I wouldn't even know who to ask. I thnk it was Luxoflux that made the game but they could have easily outsourced the music. Moreover, Luxoflux is defunct (Activision shut them down). They made pretty good games. :(
