That's right, the thread to discuss NBC's Heroes. Personally, I love the show and I HATE waiting a full week for the next episode. Sadly, the ratings continue to drop and we need to get more people watching the show!!!!

I fully recommend that if you haven't seen the show, to rent disc one of Season 1. I will guarantee that you will be hooked from the first episode.

If you do, then you won't be able to stop. I have gotten several people to rent disc 1 and then they wind up watching both seasons in one weekend.

House is great, like you I do not know much about heros. I have only seen the show advertise.

Essentially it's a superhero show. Average people suddenly start getting strange powers. One scientist believes that it could be the next step in human evolution and it goes from there. It's a heavily plot driven show that does a great job of sucking you in.

Personally, I like CSI and House, but Heroes is a whole different animal.

Last time I said I liked House I got compared to him.

Heroes got better again in the past episodes. Still, the beginning was the best.

yes, it has gotten better since Bryan Fuller is back helping out, but the first season is the best.

i am a fan of heroes too. i only wonder two things.

1- WTH happen with the sylar's father.
2- Why i dont have universal and have to download the episode each day it comes to air

1. There was an episode that explained that, but I am not sure if we have seen the last of him.

2. It's aired on NBC for me.

1- i saw the episode that sylar finds his father and he tries to kill sylar and he couldnt but wth happened with him after that. i saw all episodes and still nothing.

2 - i also dont have nbc :(

Yeah, I am wondering if his dad is going to be back for season 4. Perhaps the main villain. Because currently, no one can stop him.

Second to last episode has him listed in the cast. Since he has the same ability as Sylar, then if he finds Claire, then poof he heals up. Scary thing is that Sylar had NO PROBLEMS overpowering him.

Matt (baby) gave Hiro half his power back, he can do the same for Peter? Peter is Sylars peer. Apart from the "om nom nom, braaaaiiins" part.

I dunno, Sylar changed. He overpowered Arthur and the already strained Haitian. Plus he shot out of those coma drugs like they were nothing, overpowered his own dad and the puppet master.

I just wonder if baby Matt can turn powers OFF, if thats the case, he could do a number on Sylar.

The first season was sooo good, and the second just couldn't compare. I mean it was alright, but not nearly as good. This season started off slow, but the second half has been AWSOME!

Tonights episode was pretty good. Didn't expect that whole alice thing at all, but I figured she wouldn't just stick around...she wouldn't fit into the plot at all. And the end... sylar is messing everything up!

I agree that season 2 was kinda crappy and the first half of season 3 SUCKED. This part is MUCH better though. I am guessing that Alice will have some part to play later. Sylar doing what he does best, I love it. Now, they need to get Peter back up to par in order to deal with him.

Agreed. I'm kinda pissed he can only do one power at a time. Maybe Parkman's baby will get him back in order.

Well, sylar has the empathy, same as peter, so if he were to touch him, then he would get it.

Oh yeah, my TV is set to channel 5 already. Cant freaking wait. I hope they do a better job this season than last. Only things that I am concerned with is making Claire a lesbian (From the previews it looks that way, who really knows) and what they do with Sylar. Sylar is one of the biggest strengths to the show when used properly. See season 1!!!!!

Eh, the Claire thing is just good ol' college curiosity.. and a way to get people to watch of course lol. I know it certainly makes me want to watch it a litttle bit more.

Yeah, I know, pure shock factor and if it brings the ratings, so be it. It's better than peter and Sylar having a thing for each other.....
