I was hoping to buy a LCD TV but I would to know what anyone thinks is a good size for,gaming,movies, tv watching?

If you are installing in a 10x14 bedroom probably no larger than 32-37" range. But if you are thinking of a gaming room then 42 and up is the way to go.

I like to think of it as how close am I going to sit to the screen. Less than 6" should yield a 32" between 6-10ft; 37-42". Anything more than 10ft away needs a good 42" or larger to take advantage of your viewing scope.

I guess all the pros use 42" LCD TV's to play video games nowadays. I suggest a 42" LCD Samsung mainly because they are cheaper and have high quality.

lol. Almost a year old.

At any rate, perfect TV size depends strictly on viewing distance.
