New job

hey guys, yesterday I attended a walk in Interview at Summit racing..for those of you who know of it, it's main headquarters is here in Akron, Ohio. I applied for entry level phone sales. I went through two interviews yesterday and aced both, the guy who interviewed me the second time asked when I could come back for my second interview, it's this coming monday at 2:00pm. He seemed very impressed with my technical skills. A friend of mine works the same job I'm in the process for(he's senior sales) said they don't bring you back unless they are wanting to hire you! So I'm pretty excited because eventually I would like to transfer to their IT dept(it's huge). Thought I would share my story because I'm really looking forward to getting that job. It also includes 8 weeks of paid training.

well had my third interview today. I felt it went okay, I think I could have answered some questions alittle better but o well. I was given a tour of the huge office I would be working in, and also shown the catalog system. The interview lasted for almost an hour..at the end I was asked if I was applying anywhere else and about my current supervisor. At the end of the interview I was told I would know by Thursday/Friday if I get hired..so I hope it works out, if I get the call I go to human resources to finish up the hiring process.

Summit is just like that..I still have to interview with human resources if I get the job and take some dumb personality test/drug test. The guy that interviewed me even said he Hates bringing people in so many times, that's just how summit hires. I haven't got the job offer yet..but I'm hoping it pulls through.

Yeah it's not very fun, plus I have to wait and hopefully get a call on thursday/Friday if not I guess I'll be expecting the good ole rejection letter of doom. I hate waiting.

yeah I hate multiple interview processes always feels like you're on the wrong end of a fishing pole.

my current job I had a prescreening done before I came in then i was able to do both interviews at once. (helps if your position supports the president of the company and he wants to interview directly) I recieved my offer letter 2 days later and here I am on my second year.

Well I am supposed to hear something tomorrow or Friday if I got the job, so far no rejection letter so I'm happy.

Well I got a letter in the mail from a third party background place yesterday. It said my public information was released to summit racing for the background process, it also said if I wanted a copy of the report to mail them a written request and if I have any questions about the process of my background to contact Summit. I really have never recieved a letter like that?

Usually any credit checks or background checks done with your permission write you to notify you there was a check done.

By law anyone that you give permission to run your check whoever checks your credit(equifax, experian, or transunion) is required to notify you.

My new job is badass. Such a great company to work for I have my own desk! Haha I won't be able to answer my ext for at least 8 weeks because that's how long my training is but I'll give you guys it once I get done.
