Doctor Who needs his own thread. He's close to a thousand years old and has been on television for over fourty years. I actually missed out on the Tennant version and have been watching episodes consecutively for the past couple weeks. Now I'm on the Matt Smith version and I really don't think he's that bad. Idk.. discuss away, it's an open thread that spans the entire series so go nuts.

I had started watching the series from the beginning last summer and have a thread here on it someplace, but I didn't get very far - maybe a couple of seasons. It's really tough to watch some of those old b&w tv shows. They move so slowly that I fast forward a lot and watch a 22 minute episode in under 10 minutes.

I don't really like Smith. He's OK but I liked the original guy (original to the new series) better. Tenant was OK but was generally way too squirrelly for me.
