Only thing I'm left feeling after watching that is a very strong desire to find that guy and kick him in the nuts! They could at least of found someone more intimidating.

We used to have Dish Network - we had a faulty DVR reciever which they kept replacing.

4 replacements later (they lasted on average a week) we told them to fuck off and got DirecTV, which had a QUALIFIED, LOCAL technician come and PROPERLY install GOOD equipment that doesn't FAIL for no reason.

Don't support that shitbucket of a company, Dish doesn't care about their customers, they use the cheapest garbage they can get by with and are horrible at installation, always leaving a mess, never properly grounding electronics or any of that. It took days before we could get someone to come fix our sattelite also, we spent about a month combined without television because their nearest service location was 3 hours away - so that's about 110$ wasted. DirecTV has better equipment, better customer service, and people who aren't complete dicks and actually know what they're doing that are local to come help you with whatever issues you may have within a reasonable time period (a day or two at MOST).

LOL I like dishnetwork better than direct tv. It's easier, it works better, and sooo far have had great customer service with them. 3 years of direct. 2 years of dish before, and now maybe 5 after direct.

When they came to install it. It was a forced issue to install heavy expensive cable. I only knew it was the good stuff because I had bee running cable tv before it.

They didnt leave a mess, ran 4 rooms, new what he was doing, almost hit 100 percent on the T when configuring it to the satellite. Ran a thick ground wire, and buried it down in the ground with a long copper pole.

Its also very easy to pop the top and add a larger hdd if you want to.

could it have been the fact you didn't shut the machine down like a pc? i've heard that can make them go faulty with corrupted hdds
