Well, I got my sister an underwater camera for her birthday, so we went out to the lake for a day of diving. Visibility was 25 feet.

Came across this bass. Probably 18 inches long.

Random exploring netted a cool sight, an unmarked submarine mine. Most attractions have buoys marking them, not this one.

Just a couple of fish chillin by the boat.

And a MASSIVE channel catfish. Easily two feet long, maybe more. They are really shy and elusive, so catching one on camera was a treat.

The pic 2nd from the bottom I think is a huge bluegill. At first I thought it may be a croppie, but it's body is too tall. I've never seen a bluegill that big.

Probably so. The lake has Brim, Crappie, Bluegill, Catfish, Stripped bass, big mouth bass and a few others. They are friggin HUGE in there, seen brim the size of a dinner plate at 27 feet. They are not scared of you either, the brim will actually attack your ears.

This one was about 2 inches from the camera when we snapped the pic. Completely not afraid of you.

Here is sisco the steel 45 foot shark. You can swim inside him, but it was dark, so I chose not to.

Went back out today. Shot some video of it. Made all pics into a slide show. Free cookie to the person that guesses the music being played on the slideshow.

Scuba diving makes me scared for some reason. Im paranoid of sunken objects for some reason. It would still be cool to see them close up

I get freaked out by sunken objects when I am on the surface looking down. When I am actually diving, that fear melts away.

There is a Diver Down school nearby that I always wanted to take lessons but haven't had the time

Takes two weekends to get certified. First one is pool work, second is lake work.

No lol. It's a scuba park in an old rock quarry in the middle of Texas. Not much submarine activity in there.
