Anyone else really disappointed with Mexico's performance as of late? :( We may be seeing another country in the cup in their place - Costa Rica perhaps? :P

Also, both Koreas qualified, which should make for an interesting hopeful matchup.

Never got into watching Fifa. Loved playing the games tho. lol. I'm more a hockey kind of guy.

Australia got through for the second world cup in a row will be cheering for them and England. I would actually really love to see the poms win the cup doubt it happen though. =/

No it wont happen. We big ourselves up to much and then when we lose we bay for blood. Happens every time. I think we'll get to the semis if we're lucky, then get knocked out by Italy.

Bets on Germany i think, who slaughter France 4-0

I'm hoping Ballack, Klose, and Podolski can take Germany to the finals at least, this year :D

They did really well last time considering they didn't have a manager until like weeks before the tournament started...

I don't think Aussie will get that far, though they're certainly improving over last time. Already they've bested those crazy Asians in the qualifiers :P

Today was sad for the confederations cup...

Spain's streak ended by our miserable excuse for a team.

Sheer luck.

...and the US fans are now touting our team as the best in the world, despite a loss to Honduras just a week or two before!

Who cares what team they put out! We WON! I personally think we are a very good team, though we got a beating by honduras (:confused:) and then Brazil, yet we take out the #1 team in the world? Confusing indeed. I like our chances for this world cup. I think we will get out of our group for once.

They were for about 2 years straight when NO ONE could be them.

...and holycow, I severely doubt it :P Last time the US team hit the quarterfinals was 1930, and we were much more of a soccer nation then.
