Cause I dropped my milestone and shattered the screen (but it still works, just hard to read)just I began to realize my true love for its overclocked rooted hacked tweaked goodness.


But enough of that.


Samsung galaxy II GSM is the current leader available unlocked at the egg for $649 with free shipping.


What else is out there with android, GSM, a nice screen and unlocked?

I think I will order it tomorrow and then when their lazy asses get around to paying me i can pay it off as I get terms over $500 at the egg on my preferred account.

I loved my milestone once I rooted it (cousin of the droid), but hated the locked bootloader until there was custom ROMS and cracks.

Half the memory, half the talk time and no front facing camera. Im not sure about the 3D being for me eihter. But it looks nice.


Important to me are battery life, speed, multitasking, maps, e-mail, text, signal quality and storage.

samsung in our country is tied with people of low class. all low class people get samsung phones because they offer their (literary)crap at a lesser price. also service and battery life sucks balls. not to mention some little here and there stuff thats missing.

Samsung makes shit trac or pay as you go phones. I just got april one since she decided the battery was out of her other phone, so she threw it away........ :(

Actually, the difference is quite noticeable. Just open any flash based in the browser to see how much of a difference. It's one of the main reasons I still kept my Atrix even after I discovered it has a locked bootloader.

That plus a 8 hour talk time on 3G, 32GB of total storage and the ability to connect through DLNA or over the flexusb port made it a clear win for me. The dual core to watch streaming movies on while in bed was just a bonus.

It is made of LIGHT!!!!!! and it eats iphones like candy........



Everything I thought about doing on my old phone, like color network scanning, printing, and faxing, emailing, video calls, games, everything.....is just better.



Except, the damn lack of a camera button, and it feels like I have to slide the whole screen over to unlock it and with how wide it is trying to do that while holding it in one hand....


Other than that, pictures are great, features are great. and it comes in Spanish to start, and there are four places you have to turn it over to English.
