wow the driver's quite slow off the line. at the quarter speed he should be hitting low 10's

edit: ah he didn't get the tires stickey first and he's not runnig the right tires for the quarter in the first place. that makes more sense.

562 HP is all they could manage? Brings back the memories of the 855 horse 10.0L BOSS Mustang verse the Camero ZL1 (http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_lists/high_performance/corvette_camaro_corner/duke_out_in_detroit_road_test/(page)/1) years ago. XD

Nice.10.69 at 129.49. Only about .6 slower than a new ZX10r:eek: And a few mph slower.
Hell of a ride.

62k... I'd buy a 1-2 year old ZO6, cool car though.

The Boss did 10.55 at 135.05 in only two runs (did one run, died, was resurected, and only did one more before everyone left) while the Camero had like five or six runs before it died. The Camero also did higher MPH but slower time on several runs.

Both cars had fatties for draggin'.

A 10.0L mustang? Well, is not for long travels. It drinks gallons like a sucker.

Exchange the m for a p in the name of the car and I would be much more interested. Just another car with a HUUUGE engine and bad handling. 562 HP is more than enough you just need to pop it in a car that weighs say a ton less it would be seriously fast, like this one http://www.caparo-t1.com/

The Caparo was tested on Top Gear amazing lap never seen a road car handle like that before.

I saw that when it premiered. Interesting car but not practical. :(

One is a street car, the other isn't. It's hard to compare a car that only carry 2 people to a car that could fit 5 and for the most part be comfortable for a cross country drive. Where as it sounds like (by the beginning of a clip) that might have a hard time making it across 1 state.

Having a track car is cool, I like Ariel Atoms, but I would most likely never own one as I like a car that can do everything and do it well, maybe not the best, but very good. Stripping interiors and ditching backseats to loose weight aren't things I would do. Either way a 121mph trap speed is seriously fast, and coming from Hennessey I'm sure it has a few handling options too, isn't going to be a complete pig.

Now I remember that car, I was reading about it before, it has enough downforce to literally drive on the ceiling at over 150mph. The budget o0f that car as astronomical. You will never see a road car handle like htat, because even a stripped down roadcar, is going to have far more options. Tack in some AC, power windows, a stereo, windshield wipers, and many other things then you can start calling it on even ground. Its like people comparing a crotch rocket to a car. It's an awesome vehicle, but just can't compare it, especially at a budget.

Yeah, but they also didn't sell the Boss with a warranty.
