Whats with this "best match" crap?

i HATE best match. its usually the stuff i want the least. most of the time the prices are super high towards the top of "best match" order. sometimes its crap that no one even wants.

i have tried setting it to "price: lowest first" but every time i visit both newegg and ebay its right back to fuckin "best match" again.

so heres a big fuck you to "best match"

and yes... there are other sites that do this crap. i just cant remember which ones ATM. there's also one called "best sellers" which is total crap as well. its never anything anyone would pay for.

It's probably something random, something a company pays to have at the top of the list, or it's an item that they too much of. Either way it's annoying.

I sent them an email some time ago telling them they need to put the default back to "price: lowest to highest" but they haven't done it. That's really the only thing I don't like about Newegg.

they won't set it back to lowest price because companies and sellers pay to be at the top of that best match list. it has nothing to do with what the consumer wants/likes
